Half price re-opening offer available out of season for Dinner Bed & Breakfast was an excellent offer and great value for money. Food was excellent and accommodation second to none. Only down side was the building site noise and that the normal access path through the hotel grounds to the Lodore falls was closed due to the ongoing extension building...

Me, my wife and our dog recently stayed here and were very impressed, we have stayed in other pet friendly hotels but this was by far the best! The staff were very welcoming and the room was very nice. We got a good deal on the price as there were building works in progesss and the spa was closed which...

Having booked the Lodore Falls Hotel for a relaxing short break I was very disappointed to witness the extent of the renovation work on our arrival. We were placed at the back of the hotel where the outlook was of a building site. Loud drilling persisted till 5pm and resumed the following morning as early as 8-8.30am. This disrupted our...

Stayed at this hotel over a weekend. The room was very comfortable and very clean as was the rest of the hotel. However my trip was slightly ruined by one occurrence. I was ordering my supper and there was a starter called Lodore Falls Assiette (i think, i can't remember the exact name). The waiter explained that this consisted of...

Called in for lunch whilst traveling round the Lakes and this place is delightful. The place is under refurbishment but don't let this put you off. Once inside you would not know, there is a varied menu and the food is first class. The view from the bar restaurant is excellent . The staff were very friendly and all in...

Called in here for afternoon tea to check out the recent refurb and we were not disappointed! The decor is beautiful and at the same time, warm and welcoming. It was very relaxing and we felt as though we could have stayed all afternoon! We ordered cream teas and a sandwich with drinks and initially there were a few mistakes...

The hotel offers a lovely ground floor bar, restaurant and lobby. View from the restaurant is across Derwentwater Lake. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The bedroom was well furnished and the bathroom spotless and a decent size. Comfortable bed. No air con but windows open. However..........the small print on the booking said guests may experience some noise and...

If I was to use one word to describe or latest stay at the Lodore Falls Hotel 'Fantastic'. I can recommend bed, breakfast and evening meal and if you can watch to it, one of the suites with a view of the lake.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, stunning scenery, great bar, efficient check in, powerful showers. No complaints at all about this hotel, would thoroughly recommend a stay here to anybody.

We recently stayed at this hotel for a 2 night break. We have visited the Ladore Falls many times in the past. The standard of hotel is still very impressive, in spite of the fact that a major upgrade is taking place. There is to be a brand new leisure centre and another restaurant attached to the hotel. The work...
