Everyone at Gosforth Hall Inn is very welcoming. We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay in a beautiful room, which was newly refurbished. Staff were very helpful and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I got a one off babysitter so decided to stay local and tried the Gosforth Hall Inn. It's a lovely building with low ceilings and beams, your typical old style English inn. We were greeted and seated upon arrival, it was a Friday night so we're pleasantly surprised they'd accept walk ins. The staff were friendly and...

As a family we used to come here every few weeks to enjoy their famous pies from chefs selection. Unfortunetly on a visit last summer we noticed a huge change in staff standards. Mistakes ranged from the floor staff telling us our 1hr and 15mins wait for our food was acceptable due to them being so busy, despite only having...

We stayed in Gosforth for the weekend and after a good day's walking headed to the Gosforth Hall Inn for a pint and a pie - it was so good that we went back the next day. Really delicious food, very friendly, lovely atmosphere. Exactly what we were looking for.

We had a 2 night stay here £550 for 4 including breakfast. Pros Clean, modern apartments Good hot breakfast menu Apartments spacious Cons Kitchenette very poorly equipped - no glasses, bowls, toaster, microwave etc. Unless you book all bedrooms linked to an apartment, the kitchenette/ lounge could be let as a communal area. Cold breakfast menu limited. Accommodation block has...

We have just got back from a long weekend stay at Gosforth Hall Inn. We managed to book the room the night before and have been far from disappointed! The room was fantastic! we were in the annexe and had a comfortable bed, great shower and it was very clean (cleaned daily while we were there). We ended up eating...

Gosforth Hall is famous for its pies. They're still going strong, providing they haven't run out, which seems to be increaingly common. They are delicious though - with generally two or three options and real ales at the bar to wash them down with. They used to serve them with real chips, sadly, these days oven chips are you all get....

Went for our yearly catch up with friends. The meals are okay more quantity than quality. The starters were a little large a bit too much when the main meal arrived so soon after eating your starter it was a bit off putting. Most of left part of our mains. Nice surroudings and the staff were very helpful.
