Our fourth visit and it was just as good as every other time we've stayed. We always get a warm welcome, a comfortable room and an excellent cooked breakfast. Just what's needed for days out on the hills. We appreciated the lovely hot shower after...More
My wife and I stayed at Rainors Farm last month for three nights B and B, and we both really enjoyed the lovely relaxed feel to the place and John and Debbie's friendly hospitality. The double room we had was spacious and comfortable with an...More

5 years since our honeymoon stay we returned to Rainors Farm. John and Debbie as friendly as last time and the breakfast still amazing before a walk up Gable. Great base for walking in the Western Fells or Scafell Pike.

Hi, We are situated between Gosforth village and Nether Wasdale, approximately one and a half hour's drive from Ambleside and on the west coast. We are also only 5 miles from the foot of Scafell Pike - England's highest mountain and Wastwater - England's deepest lake and voted Britain's best view. We do accept dogs in our B&B and self catering cottage. We would not recommend staying here if you want or need to be in Ambleside but please visit our website again or contact us for further info if required. I look forward to hearing from you further and thank you for your interest Debbie Hughes
