It has taken us a long time to get around to writing a review, but we will definitely be back to Rainors Farm B&B. The owners, John and Debbie, were incredibly friendly and hospitable, accommodating our late night arrival and earlier than normal breakfast the...More
We stayed in the cottage for new year. It was great. If you want peace and quiet this place is worth a visit. The cottage is a perfect size for 4 people. The rooms are good, beds comfy and bathroom and shower clean and powerful....More

I stayed for one night before a course run at YHA Wastwater and I cannot recommend this place enough. It is in a gorgeous setting with stunning views of the Lakes' fells.
I arrived pretty late (10pm) but Jonny was so welcoming and understanding.

Hi, We are situated between Gosforth village and Nether Wasdale, approximately one and a half hour's drive from Ambleside and on the west coast. We are also only 5 miles from the foot of Scafell Pike - England's highest mountain and Wastwater - England's deepest lake and voted Britain's best view. We do accept dogs in our B&B and self catering cottage. We would not recommend staying here if you want or need to be in Ambleside but please visit our website again or contact us for further info if required. I look forward to hearing from you further and thank you for your interest Debbie Hughes
