Refreshing to receive great service. On day of arrival was offered home made mince pies and tea. Just what we needed after a long day travelling. The owner of this little hotel is warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. It's not a shiny modern all singing and dancing hotel, instead this is a comfortable place to stay with...

I arrived and was offered a lovely pot of tea and a beautiful home made cake, which was delicious. Judith was very friendly and told me places to visit while I was there. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. It was easy to get to many places from this lovely village.

In a quiet village location with stunning views and yet within a few miles of Keswick, Bassenthwaite and other popular attractions. The beds are extremely comfy and...

This b&b was a little gem. Judith the host was lovely and the breakfast amazing. Very relaxing area and still very close to Keswick. Lovely sized family room. Great trip so much so we've already booked the return trip with more family. Very reasonably priced.

We stayed in a beautiful room with the comfiest bed I have ever slept in that wasn't my own. Bookshelves everywhere & lovely attention to detail in the room made me feel as if I was staying in a friend's guest bedroom, and Judith's friendliness and helpfulness only added to this. The breakfast was extremely tasty and well cooked, I'm...

This is a lovely house with a really restful vibe to it. The proprietor was friendly and attentive and very helpful with local information. Our bed was comfy and our breakfast better than standard; some thoughtful touches to the menu. This is a very quiet corner of the Lake District, well worth exploring. Keswick/Skiddaw/Bassenthwaite Lake a short, easy drive away...
