We booked in for two nights as my wife had a complimentary Aveda voucher. On arrival, we were greeted at the front door by a porter who took our bags and parked the car for us. As already mentioned, the hotel does not have its own parking but this is not an issue. We had treatments booked and they even...

Landed off the ferry at Lakeside and opted to have lunch here, not that there were many other options! However, the views were spot on and the service was excellent. Food was tasty if not a bit expensive!!! Enjoyed our time with the upper class!!!

Beautiful luxury hotel and spa. As it was middle of the winter everyone trying to sit around the live fire place and. The lake view in the morning is so beautiful. One night is just not enough and will definitely come back.

We had a late booked single night stay with a lovely room overlooking the lake and snow capped hills to the north. The pool is large, with a children's pool adjacent and a view of the lake. Service is exemplary throughout. With a choice of three restaurants we chose Ruskin's brasserie with its tapas-style dishes. We had eight plates of...

Having received a complimentary Aveda voucher for two nights and two treatments for this hotel, and also needing a base for a booking at L’Enclume, we added an additional night – and were very glad that we did as this hotel is pretty much faultless. I shall get the small grumbles out of the way now – the mattresses were...

Stayed for 4 nights dinner bed and breakfast for a Spring break. Beautiful setting right by the lake. Victorian building with newer additions. Lovely large conservatory lakeside. Had a lakeview room on the ground floor with own terrace. Some form of privacy dividers are needed to screen your terrace from that of others. Whilst the room was a reasonable size...
