Deepdale Hall was the best place to stay in the area. Great views from the Farmhouse, great staff on a working sheep farm. Other attractions are easily accessible for day trips out or loads walks close by.

What a gem of a place. In terms of ease of cooking and living - it's like home. First accommodation I've ever been too that has all utensils like at home ..... and plenty of them.... and good quality. What a gorgeous five star place nestled in the valley. Shame we had such a short stay.

Just a couple of days away for the two of us prior to our wedding. I've been to the area before so kind of knew what to expect from the locality etc. The welcome was warm and we were given the Herdwick room, double bed, single bed with en-suite shower/toilet room. Everything was provided, kettle, tea, milk even biscuits. There...

Thank you for your review and pointing out about the bed. We have now replaced the mattress and it has solved the problem.

After looking around for an overnight stay near Glenridding we stumbled across Deepdale Hall. Chris the owner was a delightful host and cooked an excellent breakfast. Accommodation was well looked after, comfortable and really clean. Lovely to stay in such a lovely unique accommodation. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the Byre (the self-contained barn conversion on the property; separate to the bed & breakfast)! All ammenities are provided and are of high quality; all we needed to supply was our food! The views are stunning and the walks around the property and into Patterdale are magnificent! Chris and his family were...

This is a real working farm set back from the Patterdale to Kirkstone Pass road with access along a track. The farmhouse is also a grade 2 listed building so it's quite remarkable how well Chris the owner has created a quiet, warm, welcoming B&B without compromising the authenticity of the old buildings. Our room was the Herdwick which has...

We really enjoyed staying at Deepdale Hall B&B. We woke up to a delicious English breakfast every morning. Chris, who is the owner, is very friendly and accommodating. The location of the B&B is a great starting point for walks. We went on 2 of our favorite walks while we were there. We will definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed a couple of nights in the Herdwick room and enjoyed it very much. At first sight, Deepdale Hall doesn't look like much...but it's a working sheep farm and there is an honesty about that we appreciated. Although it was "no frills", the accomodations were comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the impressive menagerie of animals...

We stayed at the Deepdale B&B last weekend for one night only and we loved it so much we were sad to leave after only one day. It's a proper farm with all the comfort of a 5 star hotel. On our arrival Chris, the owner, welcomed us and we also had the honour to feed one of the little...

Excellent facilities in this rustic farm house accomodation bed and breakfast. Chris, the host was welcoming in his calm and understated way. Showed us through the place, that is after we had been raced up the driveway by Guinea fowl, and once there, greeted by ducks, and dogs of all sizes. An old grey ferguson tractor is parked out the...
