We recently stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my husband's birthday. Peter & Karen were fantastic hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. They have thought of everything including fresh milk to go with the tea tray and a fridge in the room - a very welcome touch. The breakfast choice was extensive for a b&b and the...

From the moment the door opened we were made to feel welcome and at ease which set the tone for our weekend. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean. The multifunction shower was a welcome relaxation at the end of a chill winters exploring. The hostess Karen made us feel we were stopping with friends and Peter 's Full English...

Stayed here one night on our way up to Scotland. The B&B is on the top f the moors, next to the pub. We were made to feel very welcome - all the bits that needed explaining in the room were explained. The room was beautifully furnished, and the bed was comfy. We went to the pub next door for...

On arrival were told that breakfast orders were taken on the previous evening which in some cases isn't helpful as one may want what was ordered the previous day. On our first evening I duly requested full English breakfast. When it arrived the bacon was highly smoked & I do not like smoked bacon so it totally spoilt my breakfast....

This is a sweet little, intimate and lovely B&B that is characteristic of some of England's finest country life. The hostess was welcoming and cordial and our room, which uniquely could host 3 guests, was perfectly clean and well-maintained (although the shower could be a little temperamental with the water temperature). Our stay was perfectly peaceful with beautiful views from...

Karen and Peter were most welcoming and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable, extremely clean and peaceful with a lovely shower room. We had loads of refreshments in the room, which were most welcome in the middle of nowhere. The breakfasts were second to none, perfectly cooked to order. Although quite remote, apart from the pub next door which did...

"Normal pick up time is 4.30pm ... If you are running late or would like to change your pickup time you are welcome to phone your hosts throughout the day." That was written by our booking agent. When my wife phoned the evening before to say we would be later, Peter demanded to know exactly when we would arrive to...

Spent 4 nights here- it's immaculately clean, shower was hot and powerful, no scale!!! The food is fantastic, (bonus that they do evening snacks too). Karen and Peter are very pleasant hosts and knowledgeable about the area. They really seem to care that you have a lovely time. Also as well as being in the Dales, Garsdale is not far...
