Three of us stayed here whilst walking the Dales Way long distance path. After walking 16 miles, much of it in the rain we were very much in need of a bit of comfort. We were given much more! Cup cakes - and a vegan alternative for myself. They dried our wet clothes for us. Great to have a hot...

The Dalesea is located in the main street about 200m from shops/Pubs. The premises including the rooms have been very tastefully furnished throughout. The room and bathroom were good size. Proprietors very friendly and amenable. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Parking available in the front yard and side of premises off street. Several Pubs serving evening meals. Ate in the Red...

Nicely presented 3 storey stone property of traditional form retaining its original features, one of a matching pair, with well-kept garden in a pleasant edge-of-town location. The door opened before I reached it and I received a generous welcome from Peter and Deb. I was taken to an attractively furnished double room (room 2) with a well-appointed bathroom. The room...

Stayed here whilst walking the Dales Way. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts - nothing too much trouble. Large and very comfortable room, fully equipped. Superb breakfast with a variety of food. Excellent location. What could you ask for?

Great B&B. 6 of us stayed for one night whilst walking the Dales Way. Peter & Debs were there to greet us - and to wave us off in the morning. In between times, they could not have done more - from carrying bags to hanging out washing. Their home is delightful, immaculate and comfortable, full of nice touches -...

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Peter & Deb were excellent hosts. The room consisted of a bedroom, separate small sitting room with coffee/tea making facilities and bathroom. All very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Home made cake and fresh milk provided. Excellent breakfast. Also an excellent information pack including menus for the local restaurants. Sedbergh...

This is a unique B & B which I would recommend to anyone. We were a party of 6 and had 3 rooms, all of which were beautiful. They were spacious and well equipped. We received a very warm welcome on arrival with home made cake. The position within Sedburgh is perfect, quiet but within easy walking distance of the...

One of the critical things for a great B&B is the people running it. Peter and Debs are fantastic. We were doing the Dales Way walk and arrived a little earlier than expected. Our luggage which was being transported for us hadn't arrived and Peter immediately followed up to track it down, although there was no obligation to do so....

If you need accommodation In Sedbergh, look no further than Daleslea. It is an extremely comfortable home which is immaculate and spotlessly clean with charming hosts who do everything to make your stay as happy as possible. There are thoughtful touches in the room including home made cup cakes and the breakfast was generous and delicious. What more could you...

Brilliant, faultless, Peter and Deb were perfect hosts. Can't recommend it high enough. Lovely room, immaculate and excellent breakfast. I work with 5* and 7* hotels in the Middle East and I thought this was perfect. Without doubt the best watering hole along the whole of the Dales Way walk.
