This place just feels run down and a bit neglected the further up the stairs you go. My room smelt mouldy with 2 lights not working. The bathroom and shower also was damp, mouldy and dirty. I have stayed in hostels that are cleaner. However the area called natterjacks in the main foyer was lovely and a great place to...

It is worth climbing the stairs into this bright orange B&B for afternoon or late night visit to Natterjacks café in the lobby. The American-style homemade cakes are excellent. Good range of teas and alcohol. Excellent espresso when owner Valerie is acting barrista. Very comfy and welcoming, with monthly art exhibitions and musical groups adding to the café life.

Cute dinner downstairs, but dirty floors in room and kitchen. Toilet did not flush properly , moldy bathroom and always dirty dishes in kitchen sink. Staff took long time to fix problem and rooms are over prized for quality you get. And wifi only sometimes works.

Natterjacks is the late night opening coffe shop underneath. If you want to stay in a place with lots of culture and art this ia for you. I really think its is the heart of art in Ulverston. Id happily take my mum for coffee, my best friend or a big party of people, it will suit and intrigue anyone....

Sefton House transforms into a lovely coffee house in the later afternoon and evening called Natterjacks. They have gorgeous decor with local artwork and craftwork on the walls and tables. It is extremely clean and tidy, the coffee is actually the best coffee I have ever had and the lady who runs it is very polite and friendly. Will definitely...

Such a great idea as an alternative evening meeting place. The coffee is excellent, and the cakes are delicious and fresh. The hospitality is first class too. Highly recommend stopping by one evening.

I recently stayed here for about 10 days in August. Although I arrived very early from Manchester airport I was warmly received and quickly shown to my room to allow me to freshen up and rest after a long flight. Each morning I was greeted cheerfully by the owner who made an absolutely outstanding breakfast of my choice. I tried...

We stayed for one night 8th July to start the Cumbria Way. Despite being early we had a really warm welcome and were shown to our room virtually straight away. Delicious breakfast, my partner even liked the vegetarian sausage!

Sefton House B&B is now open to everyone as a 'night-time coffee shop' and informal art gallery. It was recommended to us by the staff in the World Peace Cafe just over the road because the WPC shuts at 4pm - so we could head to the Sefton for a coffee. I had a good decaff Americano, and used their...
