What a beautiful setting! Lovely old fashioned farmhouse in a valley. Very quite and peaceful. Rooms cosy, quirky and full of character. Breakfast was outstanding and very generous. All served in a traditional farmhouse dining room on big blue China plates. We also ate here in the evening. Lovely homemade meal at a reasonable price. Very homely, with friendly owners....

In a pretty, secluded spot with great views, this traditional B&B is close to activities and great pubs. The breakfast choice was excellent with two courses including homemade porridge and compote, and earl grey tea. The rooms were clean and cosy, with a great log fire downstairs. There was also a lovely outdoor terrace to sit outside and enjoy. We...

I have enjoyed a 3 night stay at Crosslands Farm with my best friend, my little dog. We were both warmly welcomed and enjoyed the most perfect escape. Anne & Dave are the perfect hosts and very helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous and sets you up for the day. There are plenty of walks to do from the doorstep of the...

Our 2 rooms were immaculate and so cosy. Initially we were apprehensive about bringing the dogs but they loved the environment and found another friend. We stayed in at night and had the home made meals ,gorgeous , then relaxed in front of the log burner . Would love to go back again.

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights over the New Year period and we weren't ready for going home. It's lovely to find a place that allows pets as we took our dog and was made very welcome. This B & B has a lot of character, it's very warm & welcoming as Anne was when we arrived....

I have stayed at this cottage once before and could not wait to get back to it. Situated in an idyllic spot, perfect for peace and quie Not far from Hawkshead and Grisedale forest. The owners are Anne and Dave, such a lovely couple, who cannot do enough for you. The place is spotlessly clean with little quirky touches all...

A warm welcome will be received. The farm is situated in a secluded quiet part of the Lake District detached from direct tourism. Base yourself here to enjoy the Lakes at their best. We enjoyed a fabulous walk from the farm itself but, if you want to travel, Hawkshead and Coniston are not far away. The nearest pub is 3...

Anne and David were such lovely hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The Farm is quiet and laid back - the perfect getaway. We took our bouncy 20 month old cockerpoo with us and we were all made very welcome. The breakfasts are exactly as all the reviews; just delicious. Home from home, we hope to be back soon.
