My wife booked this as a surprise birthday weekend away. She couldn't have chosen better ! Stunning location, very quiet and peaceful. We had the big room with en-suite and it was very comfortable and clean. Sue and Roger are very friendly and often stop for a chat and advice on where to go and things to see. Breakfast was... More

Really lovely, homely B&B in a great location with fabulous panoramic views. Sue is a great host and Chester and Zac (the dogs) make fabulous co-hosts! :) The full English breakfast was delicious. There's a cosy pub (The Bay Horse) a few minutes walk away too. 10/10 - we'll definitely return.

My husband booked 2 nights at sea wood as a surprise for my birthday. This a real hidden gem. The place is set in a beautiful location overlooking the tidal estuary and a few minutes walk away from a lovely little pub. Sue and Roger are absolutely fantastic, the room was superb, the breakfast delicious. We would recommend this place... More

Sue couldn't be nicer! She is an absolute doll! After a long day of travel, this was a lovely place to relax and have a good night's sleep without feeling like we were on top of each other. The room is just lovely with everything we could possibly need. Stayed later than planned the next day to walk the beach... More

Sue & Roger where most welcoming to their unique position - tucked away at the bottom of the canal & overlooking the estuary! Super location & a recommended visit! And so near to Ulverston & all it has to offer! V comfy, lovely b'fast - the only draw back for us was a shared bathroom - but get over that... More

We stayed for 3 nights, the owners couldn't do enough for us. The family room had plenty of room for 4 of us. They made us feel very welcome. Lovely area, fantastic sea views and easily accessible to the main road. Lovely home, very clean. Great choice of breakfast from full English/ vegetarian to fruit, yogurts and cereals. Highly recommended.

This was a last minute booking and it was brilliant. Both Sue and Roger were very helpful. Sue made us feel at home, she was a very warm person and made us feel comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and yummy! The only slight drawback was the fact that the double room wasn't en-suite. Although, its not a... More

Booked this B&B for a couple of nights and was pleased with everything. Great views from the room which was a good size and very clean, and a very good breakfast in the morning provided by the friendly and helpful owner Sue. Will definitely be returning.
