I stayed for one night as part of a business trip to Workington. The Hotel is conveniently place in the small town centre and although car parking was limited there seemed to be ample parking near by in the M& S car park for a small charge. I was staying on a B&B basis and the breakfast. The breakfast was...

My wife and I regularly use this hotel for work-related meetings and also visit 'out of hours' to relax. The staff are always friendly, professional and attentive. The food and drink are appropriately priced and of good quality. The sofa area is a great place to chill out and read a newspaper, browse through a book from the extensive collection,...

Having seen this hotel advertised on Groupon, my family (me, my wife, my almost 2 year old daughter) travelled from Pontefract to enjoy a holiday getaway in the Lake District, and I have to say - we had a lovely time. Workington itself is more a town centre, not a picturesque resort - but pretty much the entire Lake District...

Stayed for two nights on business. The hotel is a fantastic hotel with lots of character. There is an onsite gym and swimming pool which was clean and free to use. There is a lovely little breakfast area on site, breakfast was free but sadly I don't do breakfast, it did look very good though. I did eat both evening...

After reading review after review before carefully booking a week away with my boyfriend, it is with great regret that I did not select a great choice. The hotel is clean and the breakfast staff were extremely friendly along with service a nice breakfast however, as me and my boyfriend took a trip away to escape and spend some time...

Quite a nice hotel with friendly staff (plenty of them!) and good food. But the essentials let it down. For example, the WiFi signal was too week to reach my room so I had to work in the bar; the car parking is limited unless you go across the road or into a multi-story near by; the room and bedding...

We stayed for a weekend whilst having a family reunion for the first time in 20 years. The hotel was immaculate, comfortable the beds were the best I've slept in away from home for ages, the food was delicious and enticing, the staff couldn't do enough for us to make us happy and the stay enjoyable, very friendly and compassionate....

We recently spent one night in the Sleepwell annex at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The bathroom and shower facilities first class. We enjoyed an evening meal of Brie and asparagus followed by smoked haddock, poached eggs and mash which was excellent. All in all a friendly and welcoming hotel. Good value for money.

Centrally located with free car parking. Service good for evening meal, staff really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was slower but food was very good. There is an adjacent night club and it can get noisy at weekends, but ear plugs are supplied. I would definitely return.
