Lovely family run hotel. Lovely chintzy décor, food excellent, well prepared and good choice. Bathrooms could be updated, but lovely and clean. Staff always dresses nicely and very attentive. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is old and shabby, although beds and towels were clean that was where the cleanliness stopped, as you will see from photos the shower room left a lot to be desired, God only knows when behind the radiator... A full coachload from our club took every room in this hotel for our annual autumn 5 day break and for the first time in the 8 or so years its been going, there wasn't a single complaint from the 53 members who went. For the money we paid (£185 each inc our coach travel and excursions from Cumbernauld), you... More

Me and another family member had the misfortune of staying here back In May for the David Urquhart - Lake District Explorer Tour. The best day we had was on the way home. The hotel itself is pretty much right in the middle of a housing scheme and really isn't suitably located near anything of interest or use apart from... More
