Just eaten roast lamb rump with vegetables there, and it wasn't worth anywhere near the price. Small portion of lamb, served in a sauce with vegetables.... Nothing tasted of anything! Had to douse it in salt to get any flavour. The couple on the next table ordered scampi, and I noticed they left most of it. The couple on the...

Barman gave the impression we were an inconvenience, neither chatty or uttered any word of greeting. We supped up rather average beer and left, a shame as a delightful roadside situation. We had called a couple of years ago for an enjoyable lunch but won't be returning!

The walk up Win Hill was a bit strenuous but the view from the top was well worth the effort. We also took a walk around Derwent Reservoir which was beautiful. The staff at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn were more...

This is a real honest review. Gorgeous location, and very handy for Ladybower, very handy for walkers, and everyone was welcome at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn. The Staff were very friendly, and welcoming. The food and drinks were possibly a little more expensive than normal, but its expected in that location. It is definitely the best out of the Snake...

Lovely looking pub with a good selection of local ales, perfect to have a few drinks after a long walk. I would recommend stopping to quench your thirst. Interesting decor which you will discover when you go there. I had the local stout which was great and Sarah had the blonde bear and golden ale
