The room was huge and lovely, the bed was really comfortable, it was the perfect location with free parking and a piping hot, delicious fresh breakfast in the morning. Perfect and all for a bargain price. We can't wait to go back.

Came here as part of a large party celebrating a birthday with a meal. The atmosphere was pleasant as was the decor, staff were friendly and polite. Only rated 3 stars as I ordered the fish and chips which looked delicious but after a few bites into the fish I noticed the batter

Our second visit in the last month. The food was very good but not the service on both visits. Different serving staff both times so it is a problem that needs sorting. First we were asked if we had menus, it was obvious we hadn't. Then just two were given despite the table

Hi, You will need a taxi to take you to the tram museum, it's about 4-5 miles away. If you visit the Tramway Museum website they will give public transport information regarding bus travel. When are you going to Crich ? We are members of the Museum Society but live 200 miles away. We have visitor free admission tickets and could send them to you at the hotel, Regards Peter

The rooms vary in size, the rooms in the old part of the building are huge, I'm not sure how familiar you are with the rooms but the only small one is the single.

If you stay there can you have a dog in the room?
I didn't see any dogs there but if you look at the peak district online site, it does state 'pet friendly' and well behaved dogs are ok but not to be left unattended. Again I'd phone them to confirm. Not sure how up to date that website is.
