This B&B is quite isolated in beautiful countryside. Stayed for 1 night in "Boots" which was fine. The room is above the cafe so not in the main building. Couldn't connect to the wifi but that might have been a blip. Very quiet and had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was one of the best I have had with...

Stayed for New Years Eve. Lovely peaceful setting ,spotlessly clean room, comfortable beds, welcoming hosts and fabulous food (not a problem that I am gluten and dairy free). Also had some good company from the other guests. What more could you need?

A lovely large, clean room with a view. Extremely quiet and private. Modern bathroom but no bath, instead there was a spacious, super shower. Delicious breakfast made with local bacon and sausages accompanied with home made bread, jams and muesli. We ate at Castleton, but other guests are here and it looked and smelt superb. We would recommend eating at...

Best sleep I've had in years! Peaceful surroundings this out of the way tranquil traditional Farmhouse is just the thing for couples and those who want to embark on walking or riding adventures. Rooms neat and tidy. (Lacking in toiletries- bring your own). Breakfast was super thanks to Neil, who couldn't do enough for us. Cottages available around farm as...

Hello Vawn K, Thanks for the review. We do have both wi-fi and mobile phone signals. I confess that the phone signal can be a little hit and miss but the wi-fi is usually ok. Not sure what other toiletries that you want as we do provide hand wash, shower gel and shampoo. To be frank most people seem to...

Stayed 1 night with my friend & 7 months old niece, stayed in the 'Virtue' room which was plenty big enough, immaculately clean and views of the alpacas! Nothing was too much trouble for Jan & Neil and made us feel very welcome. We had the 2 course meal at the B&B and the food was amazing, like being in...

We were two couple staying in the hall, booked for B&B and evening meal. We had 3 days of excellent walking, the rooms were very comfortable - easy to warm up or cool down as required. Beds comfortable and showers perfect and very roomy. Food was great, all home cooked with an evening menu agreed in advance. £20 for 3...

As a group of 10 friends on a long walking weekend, we booked 2 of the cottages located around the central courtyard for the Hall. The location was isolated so that you enjoyed the peace and some stunning dales views, but near enough to main roads for easy access to towns and villages. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and stylish......everything...

Great b and b room, newly decorated - symapthetic - in old farmhouse. Well looked after - very good hosts. Very nice morning brek and in the heart of the peaks. Easy trip to Castleton for very nice meal and walk the next day - great views as well and walking direct from venue. Would go back for sure.

Great warm welcome after we arrived following a long day walking. We were shown to our room (Bridles) which was a delight. Lovely, warm and clean with a large bathroom - huge shower which was great. Great advice on where to eat that evening, although if you give advance notice you can have your evening meal there. Breakfast the next...
