Janet and Nick are very friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and we had the best room with an outside door and garden. Dogs are welcome although we do not have one. Nick cooks the breakfast only when you order it so it is fresh and to your liking. You make your own toast which means it is...

Visited the Peak District with my Mum for a 2 day break. We were really happy with our choice of B and B. Causeway House is in a great, central location. The rooms were really well equipped and comfortable. Janet and Nick were very hospitable and welcoming. They achieve a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfasts - as stated by all...

This was a fantastic place to stay! The owner was lovely and made our stay very comfortable. She was very informative on places to go for meals, sight seeing and things to do in the Peak District. I'm a vegetarian and the breakfast menu had a great variety for me. Would recommend to anyone.

Weekend away with the wife & two kids (age 9 & 6) to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and my 40th. We wanted to get away and relax and do some walking in the Peaks. Well what can I say the weekend did exactly what we were after. The weekend was made even more special by Nick & Janet at...

We stayed here for our anniversary and will definitely come again. Castleton has everything you could want, beautiful scenery quaint shops and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. As everyone has already said, you could not get a warmer reception than that given by Janet and Nick. Our room was very well appointed, with everything from tea and coffee...

Great spot with parking available with plenty of restaurants around. There is plenty of comments from other people about Janet and Nick, but they are honestly a treat. They make the B&B so much more enjoyable with Janet's early morning comedy as you eat tasty cooked breakfast (as well as a choice of cereals). Would recommend to anyone!!!!

Lovely B&B. The hosts couldn't do enough to look after us. Very pretty rooms and all beautifully clean etc. I travelled with senior family members who were quite frails and they were really looked after.

Lovely character house with very modern interior set in such an amazing village and such amazing service too. The breakfasts too were very filling. My partner is a vegetarian and he hsd plenty of choice to eat. Its just a shame I can't rate it more.
