Our room was beautiful with a view of the castle - not to mention spotless. The bed was very comfortable, too. Alan & Cassa made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't have done any more for us. Breakfast was great too. Will definitely recommend. Thanks!

This is a lovely, small guesthouse in the centre of Castleton. Alan and his partner are fantastic hosts - friendly and knowledgeable. The bedroom we had was beautiful - recently refurbished, with a great bathroom, enormous comfy bed, and lovely views over the hills. The breakfasts were delicious - we warned them in advance we were both vegetarian, and Alan...

Interesting to see the place change when the day trippers go home. The off street parking is a little awkward but the street in from is available for...

Beds are comfortable and rooms spacious, clean and well maintained. Prices very competitive and a hearty breakfast provided, more than enough to fuel a days walking. Always a truly warm welcome -...

Good location in Castleton. Great room with views to the hills & good facilities; exceptional size too. Really appreciated a 6ft bed! En suite large enough to dry off our wet walking gear, which really helped. Allan very welcoming & cooked superb breakfasts to set us up for a full day walking. Will certainly return.
