We stumbled accross this quaint pub last weekend and found a little gem. Great atmosphere, and a wonderful couple running it. They were very welcoming, friendly and fun. Had lots of laughs and will definately be returning for an overnight stay... had a quick look around the b+b rooms and they look really clean and comfy, modern with a countryside...

Good selection of dishes. Advisable to book as they do get busy. Plan on 3 or 4 dishes per person. That amount creates a decent sized portion and you can always order more as yo go along. Robinson's Bitter was on form and well kept. The place is spotless and very clean. Efficient service - but some members of staff...

Not the best Sunday roast I've had but not the worst either. Staff were very attentive and the pub itself is in a good location (old glossop is pretty!) The decor is good, we could have done with the log burner being lit rather that it simply being a decorative item in the room, we were a little chilly! Food...

It was only because we knew that the previous Tapas restaurant on Glossop High Street had closed down and that the owners had moved here that we chose to give this place a try coupled with the fact that the decorators had been in at home and the place smelt and tasted of paint so we decided to eat out....

Excellent value for money. Great hospitality clean rooms and a good night's sleep. The food was spot on with a good choice on the menu. Would recommend and stay again. A choice of beers in the pub. Car parking near the pub. ( room 1 is the biggest and room 4 is the noisiest the kitchen is below it ).

Superb little bed and breakfast pub, lovely clean rooms, good full English breakfast with extra toast if wanted, really nice and welcoming. Evening meal was extra but well worth it, good English home cooked food. Rooms all en suite with lovely views of the church.

We visited this restaurant with a group of friends, and to be honest when we arrived I thought that they had made a mistake, as The Bull's Head looks like a typical British pub rather than an Indian restaurant. However, there is a nice restaurant through the bar. Service was excellent. The food was also good. I enjoyed a veg...

12 of us went for a curry meal here last Friday and I have to say the food and service was outstanding. All the staff from behind the bar to the waiters and management were freindly and helpful. The starters and main meal were very very good and there was loads to eat. Everyone had a different main and everyone...

“Room 1 gets the best wifi since it's directly above the bar where the router is! Downside is noise on a busy night but the sound insulation is generally good and after all it is a pub so it would probably be unusual if there WASN'T the sound of people enjoying themselves. Didn't disturb my sleep.”
