I had a very enjoyable couple of nights stay - comfy bed, good shower, plenty of room, very clean and relaxing. The staff were all lovely - the young people on reception desk and the couple serving the excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Stayed here last night in room four with my fiancé. The staff were amazing especially the breakfast chef who couldn't do enough to help. Really clear to see the new owners are bringing a fresh look to the place with some lovely decor features. When we were shown into room 4 my heart sank a little as it wasn't as...

This hotel is a hidden jewel. Marvellous, cozy room, spotlessly clean and elegant. Very comfy bed. Really majestic breakfast. Did not have the chance to stroll in the garden but seemed beautiful. less than £90, best deal ever!

The first thing to note is that this is a B&B, not a hotel. We booked in for a single night. I booked through the B&B's own website on a special B&B deal, booking the preferred room, which had a bed without a footboard which makes sleeping easier for my 6'3" husband. We arrived and were made to feel very...

Visited Kegworth House guest house for a two night break. We were warmly greeted by Karen and Jonathan, despite arriving late in the evening last Friday. The bedroom was very comfortable and well appointed with a king size sleigh bed. Enjoyed a tasty full English breakfast, which was prepared for the time stipulated by us on arrival. Lounge area furnished...

This is a very charming B&B It is very clean and preserved to a high standard. All all staff are very positive and supportive . Breakfast is EXCELLENT by all standard and it has the sense of being homely with a largr wooden dining table for all to share and sit around it while the chef prepares your food. The...

Went to an interesting psychotherapy conference at the Berne Institute. That was a lovely day and stayed at Kegworth House overnight rather than drive back to London. The room was nice and comfortable and felt very friendly - if that makes sense - or maybe it was the owners who made it feel very friendly. Had a lovely freshly cooked...

5 star? Hahaha, -1 rather. Calling during the night, looking for desperately 3 single rooms. He picks up the phone and starting to tell me off, "we are in the middle of the night (really? who'd thought that), call back next week". Still calm:" am looking for rooms for today." Answer: "stupid you"... Nice, warm and friendly! Congrats for your...

Firstly may I point out that we are a family run 5* Bed & Breakfast and NOT a hotel, and therefore we DO NOT have a 24 hour reception, so therefore you would have awoken the owners with your call with, as you stated "you called in the night". Secondly, I hope this very unfair review, as you did not...

We've been here twice now - once when taking G/F's daughter to an open day at nearby Sutton Bonington school of agriculture, and once as a valentine day trip for G/F while I was collecting some Volvo parts in nearby Derbyshire. Love it. Fabulous historic house. The village of Kegworth is named after it, not the other way round. Parking...
