Just returned from a one night stay, combining it with a visit to Chatsworth. With friends, our package included bed, continental breakfast, 3 course evening meal and half an hour in the hot tub, booked through Wowcher it was excellent value. We arrived on one of the wettest days of the year, so we enjoyed the open fire. Our accommodation... More

Had a fantastic time at the dog and partridge inn. Me and my girlfriend Lisa stopped here for 2days and nights. The room was not above the inn as expected but was a room on the side of the inn. There were quite a few rooms like this but there not on top of each other which was nice. The... More

We've just come home after a lovely weekend staying here. Every member of staff couldn't of been more attentive for the whole of our stay & nothing was too much trouble. Chalet rooms were spacious and warm with a lovely ensuite bathroom, added bonus you could park your car right outside your room. The restaurant menu had huge variety and... More

We arrived at night the room looked clean and decent. Bar small but cosy however a bottle of red wine is £18 and I can assure you the price does not match the quality! Meal was severely over priced at approx £35 per head again not the quality you would associate with those prices. Service a little shoddy waitress didn't... More

Stayed for one night with my husband and daughter (my son was booked but unable to come). The accommodation was large enough to sleep 8 (another bunk bed in a separate room). Whilst the room was mildly adequate & the bedding appeared clean, the carpet was in need of a shampoo, there was only enough milk for one tea each,... More

The large family room was the only one available when you booked. We would have sent more milks ect to the room if you had asked. We apologise for the bed a new one has replaced it. The toilet bowl was cracked a few days previously and has now been replaced. I have taken your comments on board and asked... More

Chose D&P as they allow dogs and quite liked the idea of a family "Suite", chose the location as it is close to daughters Uni and close to fantastic walking areas. Room was clean smelled nice and fresh, warm and cozy. Enough space for us, the kids and a separate dog room in the bunk room. Breakfast was taken in... More

Lovely food and cosy atmosphere. Arrived for a 2 night stay as a base to see the sights of the Peak District. Visited Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock and went back to the inn for our evening meal.
