We visited for a nights stay yesterday, needing a break and cannot say we were disappointed! The weather wasn't great so the warm welcome definitely brightened our day! Having little knowledge about the village and its surroundings we were over joyed when we were given lots of great tips and options for our time in Wirksworth. After a lovely nights...

We had a lovely stay at number 37, our gracious hosts settled us in with tea and recommended lovely restaurants and pubs for dinner and drinks. On the Saturday Chris recommended a great 6hr walk around the area, which involved a delicious lunch at the Red lion in Hogerton. Sunday was spent exploring some stone circles. It was great to...

We strongly recommend this friendly, high quality B & B. My wife and I stayed 3 nights between Xmas 2016 and new year. Chris and Denise are delightful hosts and the setting is superb, with lovely fresh air, long local walks and friendly pubs and restaurants, all right on the doorstep. We took advantage of the exquisite and very relaxing...

Denise and Chris were charming hosts who couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The house was cosy and bright and our room followed this theme with a cross section of books and guides to read. Tea making facilities in the room was supplemented with freshly baked slice of cake each day and the bed was so comfortable...

We stayed here in this lovely town for one night on 22nd Jan 17. Denise and Chris are lovely people and couldn't do enough for you. There is a real 'home from home' feel about the place. Chris was very informative of things to do and see in the area and breakfast was really nice! The bed was the most...

We really enjoyed our stay at Number 37 when we stayed for a night away in November. The B & B was easy to find and Chris, our host, was easy to communicate with leading up to our stay. The B & B was cosy and comfortable and had everything that we needed for the night. The tea & coffee...

Really lovely room. Chris and Denise were very friendly, with great tips about the local area and maps we were able to borrow. They were very understanding about our dog and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely stay.
