A small group of us, with a small child, stayed 3 nights at Big Sky Tipis. Geoff and Sarah run an excellent site, and operation. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really went out of their way to help us have an amazing break and experience. You have real open fires, and they can even sort the wood for...

A fantastic site. Sarah and Geoff have not overcrowded the field and really make the guests feel welcome. The setting is amazing even in gale force winds and rain that we experienced the day we arrived. The tipis are equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups and wine glasses (plastic of course). There is a gas hob and grill...

We booked 3 tipis at Big Sky for a group of friends to go on a camping trip. A few of us have kids now and we aren't getting any younger so decided that our annual camping trip wouldn't be in our own tents. These tipis were perfect for us. How wonderful it is to arrive at the site and...

Not a massive place, but quiet and compact. My friends had their wedding "festival" here and it was incredible fun!!!! Immaculate toilet and shower facilities. A firepit in the evening..... We took our own tent but the tipi's look amazing. Just the right number I think otherwise the camp would feel too full. Not sure how it would be during...

I stayed as part of a group that booked the whole site for an event. Everything went very smoothly and Sarah was very helpful and proactive. Each tipi is very well equipped - plenty of cooking utensils, a BBQ and gas grill, table and firepit. The beds were surprisingly comfortable too. I'd worry a bit about what would happen if...

Thank you so much for your kind review! Yes it can be a little chilly in the evenings and glamping is still camping so it is worth bringing warm clothes for the evening.

First time camping in the UK and was completely blown away by the experience, haven't stopped recommending this place since! The tipi itself was extremely spacious with a very comfortable doubly bed and two singles. There was also a chest inside full of essential cutlery and crockery so no need to bring anything. Outside you are surrounded by stunning scenery,...

Stopped here for one night and couldn't have been nicer. We had such a warm welcome and the Tipi's were so comfy. The facilities are great and the toilets and shower blocks clean and well presented. Great space for kids to play. Thanks for a good stay.

This was out third visit to Big Sky Tipis and it's still as great as ever. So much is provided, for us, so much easier than camping. Yet you get a great sense of adventure here. Kids can play openly in the field and forest and you feel you get away from it all completely. Immaculate Tipis and toilet block...

Me and my 3 girl friends had a weekend here and it was amazing. It rained the 1st day but sunny the rest or our stay! The owners were amazing and nothing was to much for them! At night it was so beautiful looking up at the stars thanks to having zero light pollution. I will definitely be going back.

My two daughters and I had a lovely stay in one of the tipis. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, the surrounding fields and woodland provide a great setting, and we all slept well. I would definitely recommend it!
