Stayed 2 nights bed and breakfast, very small room and the smallest bathroom I have ever seen, needed a lot more staff, breakfast is very average, the whole hotel is in the middle of a refurb which is needed, price is OK. Staff struggle to cope, need more staff. I would not stay there again.

Likes; parking, clean room, friendly staff OK; food and drinks Didn't like; small bathroom, overworked staff, instant coffee for breakfast. This hotel generally OK but if they picked up on a few points it could be good. Breakfast is OK but where is the fresh coffee. Room clean and tidy and OK on size but bathroom much too small. OK... We stayed at the Templars in mid May for 2 nights. It was part of a surprise birthday party for my Mum's 80th, and "family" had booked a number of rooms. I had seen some of the reviews on this site and feared the worst, but the fears were not justified. Our room was reasonably spacious and overlooked the High... More
