The UK mains electricity supply voltage is now a nominal 230v,harmonised with the rest of Europe as of a few years ago, although in reality it is still generally 240V in most areas and a few are actually 250V still, they just widened the specification to +/- 10% so it fitted the Euro Standard.Socket outlets are now almost all to BS1363, i.e. the flat 3 pin. The 110V (centre tapped to earth, i.e 55-0-55V) for safety in a wet environment) available in bathrooms is fed from a very low current isolating transformer so are adequate for shavers or mobile telephone chargers only; so you will require a transformer of some kind to power 110V devices.
