The Hind is an historic 17th century town-centre coaching inn occupying a Grade II* listed building bristling with many original features. The hotel offers 34 single, twin, double and family bedrooms, 4 meeting / event rooms and suites, 2 bar / restaurants and a formal restaurant. Oliver Cromwell was said to have planned his campaign here en route to the decisive civil war Battle of Naseby in 1645, and guests are sure to find the central England location as handy as he did nearly 400 years ago.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was comfortable but due to the nature of the building was fairly dark, despite many lights. The bathroom was adequate - shower was good although I did have to mop the floor each time that the shower was used

We stayed Sunday night for that night only. Found the hotel ok as it is pretty central, but could not locate the car park. We left the car in Morrisons and went on foot. The car park had 6-8 spaces. There were only 2 cars there so we quickly went to fetch the car. When we got

Hi, I am afraid even if we had space in the car park, manoeuvring the trailer in would likely be a problem. Our overflow car park is certainly big enough but you may not feel comfortable with it there as it is 30 seconds walk from the hotel building - though covered by the council's CCTV network. I am sorry we probably can't be of help in this instance. Kind regards, Marcus (owner)
