I came here with my daughter in law for afternoon tea. Staff were lacking. Not very welcoming or attentive. The loud music from the adjoining bar was so loud at times it was not conducive to having a pleasant chat and tea. The sandwiches were fairly basic although the bread was fresh. Presentation was ok but not very generous. Quite...

I stayed in this hotel from to April 2017. My room was in the last floor (no elevator...) and had to climb up 4-5 times a day, but l knew it well before. The crick-crick when walking was there since the day that Cromwell stayed there around 1600 ac.! The lovely surprise was breakfast. Good to keep you energetic all...

Where can I start? We stayed at the hotel for a team build all the way from Manchester. The gentleman that checked us in, think he was called Ricky, made us feel so welcome, he really could not help us enough!! We will certainly return, thanks again!

Arrived after a long drive to find a rather sad looking hotel that clearly had seen better days. Although the staff were polite & welcoming the building & room were run down, dirty looking and pretty sad. Fittings were missing, tiles cracked & dirty, decor was 1970s chic, stained carpets, etcetc.........yeah we've all seen it before & want to leave...

On arrival I found it difficult to find the carpark. When I found my way to it (turning going up the one way system before you get to the hotel), I found the car park to be a small court yard with limited small spaces. When i checked in, I was given a room which had an entrance diecrly from...

Booking late for a Bank Holiday weekend left the two of us us with the limited choice of a Travelodge at £84 per room per night (no breakfasts) or the Hind at £68 per night (including breakfasts for two). Whilst the Travelodge was predictable we decided to risk the cheaper Hind. We were very glad that we did. It's an...

A very tasty Sunday lunch, the meat was in plentiful supply and succulent, selection of vegetables was good and the Yorkshire puddings were humongous. The best bit was once you had finished one plate you could go and get another one!😋 If you didn't have enough beef, turkey or pork you then you could always opt for pudding the blackberry...

The room is basic but the bed was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was hot tasty and plentiful! Due to it's central location...

The hotel offers 34 single, twin, double and family bedrooms, 4 meeting / event rooms and suites, 2 bar / restaurants and a formal restaurant.
