The Hind is an historic 17th century town-centre coaching inn occupying a Grade II* listed building bristling with many original features. The hotel offers 34 single, twin, double and family bedrooms, 4 meeting / event rooms and suites, 2 bar / restaurants and a formal restaurant. Oliver Cromwell was said to have planned his campaign here en route to the decisive civil war Battle of Naseby in 1645, and guests are sure to find the central England location as handy as he did nearly 400 years ago.

Arrived to find no parking, scaffolding up round hotel and a freezing cold bedroom. They did then switch on heating. Room ok. Breakfast well laid out and good. Felt very disappointed as it all sounded so exciting and historical.

I have booked a few events through Carly at the hind hotel for work. I can't fault one bit! The service from booking the event to the final touches. I would definitely recommend booking a function here. They are always on hand to offer advice about how they recommend things

Hi, I am afraid even if we had space in the car park, manoeuvring the trailer in would likely be a problem. Our overflow car park is certainly big enough but you may not feel comfortable with it there as it is 30 seconds walk from the hotel building - though covered by the council's CCTV network. I am sorry we probably can't be of help in this instance. Kind regards, Marcus (owner)
