We stayed 1night 19th Nov and got a reasonable nights sleep, creaky floorboards every time somebody walked along the corridor but breakfast...well! The restaurant was not busy, about 12 people, but after waiting 10 minutes to place our order and then a further 30 minutes for the wrong breakfast to arrive! I ordered more toast which didn't arrive. During this... More

I celebrated a "big" birthday here on Saturday night, hiring out the function room with approx 80 guests. Having never really done anything like this before I knew instantly I was in capable hands. A big thank you to Julie and her team who made the evening go flawlessly. From the precision planning to the friendly "can-do" attitude of the... More

We only visited for a meal so this is about that rather than a stay in the hotel. Very nice decor etc in the bar, warm and welcoming. Staff excellent, very friendly. Food was reasonably priced and well presented but my steak was a bit gristley and was underdone (rare when medium rare requested) and chips crunchy in the middle... More

We stayed several times between November 2015 and February 2016 - as a couple and then with the extended family - took 7 rooms that time - all good. Upgraded rooms are great but even normal rooms are good. great breakfasts. A great value for money hotel - made even better by the super staff.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The breakfast is included that means one can choose from the breakfast menu's wide choices. All are made fresh. The room equipment was correct. The heating in the bathroom was not working for some reason.

We stayed here as a couple last weekend. We were only staying one night and we were really glad. As we arrived we were checked in by a gentleman who seemed like he didn't want to be there. We were not offered help to our room, despite the fact that we had our hands full. We decided to eat in... More

We stayed here as we were visiting Silverstone, which is very close by. Our room was spacious and was kept beautifully clean by the housekeeping staff. All the meals were excellent and the bar and waiting staff were friendly and cheerful. I would have given the Saracens Head an 'excellent' rating, but our room was quite dark, with a very... More

It's got a lot going for it, good location , interesting design and character but regret it stops there. The bedrooms are in need of refurbishment, they need sound proofing windows ( the noise from traffic is louder than at Silverstone ! ) but that a side they need cleaning and I mean a proper back to base cleaning. OK... More
