We enjoyed a family wedding at Goldeye Centre in June 2021. Lanny and Cyrena provided excellent service to ensure our kids had the day of their dreams. The venue was perfect and the food was delicious! And in the background, from first planning, to shutting off the lights at the end of the night, was Lanny. I couldn’t have asked for better management. He was attentive to our requests and the needs of our guests. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you to Lanny and Cyrena and all of your staff for helping our kids’ dreams come true.

This was the 2nd year that our hiking club had a 4 day/3 night getaway to the Goldeye Centre.

This past weekend (Sept 26th-29th, 2019) there were 10 of us & we had a block of 5 rooms in the Presidents Wing. The rooms are simple (1 double bed & 1 single bed, washroom) and a large common area (4 comfortable sofas, wood fireplace, satellite TV, WiFi, fridge, microwave, kettle & coffee maker).

But the food & hospitality is what set it apart -
- hearty breakfasts that prepared us for a full day on the trail
- at breakfast all of the food to make our lunch for the trail (on the 3rd day I finally finished what I prepared on the 1st, the variety of options was amazing & the quality was top notch)
- supper was beyond amazing (steak with potatoes the first night, veal cutlets with rice the 2nd and chicken with pasta the 3rd) ... with ample salads & deserts

Coffee, teas & water was available all day ... and while no bar they did provide us with wine glasses ... and we couldn't say enough about the staff, everyone we encountered went beyond our expectations in making out getaway truly awesome.

The hiking around Nordegg is spectacular ... staying the the Goldeye Centre made it even better.

The Goldeye Centre is a perfect spot on the edge of the Rocky Mountains. With easy access to Abraham Lake and the Shunda Wilderness, the Centre is a great base camp to explore and enjoy the area! The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have a wide variety of accommodations, for different uses and prices, and the food is great! Didn't get a chance to try out the ropes course or climbing wall, but will definitely be keen to try it out once the weather gets warmer!

We had the extreme pleasure of using the Goldeye Resort for a wedding, absolutely amazing, from beginning to end. The venue was perfect and the Staff incredibly attentive to every detail including all dietary issues. I would heartily recommend this place to anyone for whatever they have planned. 10 stars from me♥️

I stayed here as a nurse for a youth camp. I stayed here last year as well and this year did not disappoint! The weather didn't cooperate as much as I had hoped but the scenery and experience made up for it. A great place to book a retreat or camp.

On relatively short notice, staff recommended and ran a 3 hour program for our teenage girls involving the static course and the zipline, even though we were camping elsewhere.
They were professional, encouraging, fun and safety-focused throughout - the facility was beautiful - we will be back!!
BIG thanks for a job well done!

I stayed here while acting as a camp nurse for a kids camp. The experience was wonderful and the scenery breathtaking. Our kids were set up in the bunk cabins and the nurses and director stayed in the Hay Memorial Cabin. It was great setup as we had a common area for meds/treatment, our own room, and an extra room that we used as a hospital ward. The beds were a bit hard and small, but it is a camp and I believe some of the other cabin options offer more luxurious accommodations. The Pavilion provided meals which were good. They were buffet style and we never ran out of food. The area has lots to see and do as well as large rec fields and activity areas. Wireless internet was only available in the Pavilion and was weak at times depending on how many people were accessing it, however this allowed me to enjoy my time away and forget about e-mails and such. Cell service was available with fair strength. There are other cabin options available and all descriptions are on the website. I would recommend this area for functions for everyone.
