We arrived just before 7pm.. Placed our order for four people and lost track of time due to chatting. 2hrs later and no food. Approached the kitchen they literally had no idea. Approx 5 other people yelling at them for food. Orders were lost, kitchen were short staffed, people using hands to prepare food. We ended up getting a refund...

Three of us went to the new bistro for dinner and left somewhat unsatisfied. My partner and his friend ordered the steak sandwich. They reported that it was too tough, chewy and filled with lumps of fat. My schnitzel was ok, very dry, flat and came with odd looking gravy ( Orange colour) . I would definitely not order it...

Spent an unplanned night here.... A comfortable bed but we had to share amenities which I'm not keen on unless I'm backpacking and travelling on a shoestring budget. A lovely old building with some interesting features. Close to the river which was nice for a walk. Wallicia is a little town with very few shops but only 10 minutes drive...

Had a night booked at Vicarys Winery and chose to stay at Wallacia Hotel. For the price the rooms are very good value and very comfortable. Great friendly local community atmosphere in the Pub. I must mention that when Checking in , employee Harrison was very helpful. We also found later on that Harrison was also serving in the bar....

Art Nouveau decorative style, huge rooms, comfortable beds, great food and friendly staff. Beautiful 40 room hamlet close to Warragamba dam and the blue Mountains..Some of the best trout fishing in Sydney on its doorstep.

Beautiful old world accommodation. Room spotlessly clean, warm, quiet. Comfortable bed. For the price, I think excellent value, with personality. Staff friendly, good humoured and helpful. Food at bistro reasonable - pub type fair. Pleasantly surprised.

Iconic hotel for many in the western suburbs but the building is really in need of a face lift. We had a reasonable lunch for only $9 in the expanded open are at the rear of the pub. Steaks were nicely cooked and came with chips or salad. Not bad value. Just another pub but well located for a visit...

I stayed at the historic hotel in Wallacia, used back in the 40's with the development of the nearby Warragamba Dam. Wallacia is a small village not far from Penrith. This hotel still has the original facade and could do with the stairway carpet being updated and cleaned. The rooms were refurbished and clean. Two power points in our room needed...

Good points: >Inexpensive. Wotif was cheaper than site -$105 for a queen room with ensuite. There are also 2br suites. >The rooms are really beautifully decorated. The beds are comfy and pillows are good too. Beautiful white linen. >Bistro food is pretty good; there was a good crowd there for meals. >There is a lift if you have a disability....
