This is a local pub with accommodation....that's it. Don't expect anything else. The rooms are basic (some with ensuite, others with shared communal bathroom) but it's fine for one or two nights if needed. The staff were nice, the locals were fun. We were here for a wedding in the area so won't be making a habit of staying here...

Recently stayed here for 1 night. I booked online. Some of the rooms are described as being older style. I specifically chose the double + 2 singles as it didn't have that description and I'd read some other reviews about these rooms being disappointing. Unfortunately we were given the king + triple and it was definitely older style. Extremely dated...

A nice lunch with an adjusted menu as a consequence of a busy day the day before.Main courses were good but I wouldn't rave about them. Hotel is huge,so you could wander around whilst you waited for your meals. I don't know what the rate is to stay overnight but I reckon that might of been good.

What a great time we had. Myself & 3 girlfriends spent Saturday in the hotel & had a wonderful time. We had the family room with a queen bedroom & three single beds plus a ensuite bathroom. Our package include Xmas dinner & breakfast. We started at 6.30 with pre dinner drinks in front of a blazing fire ,mmmm mulled...

Not a lot of choice on the menu. Typical pub food. Nothing flashy!! One small bar and the locals go silent when you walk in. State of Origin night and one small TV in the bar. Not a great location for larger groups.

Old world charm is value for money, mattresses have been updated. The formal lounge area ,with a large fire place, extends to a Billard room, and soiree/conference room, communal TV. Great food and friendly reception.Unlike higher priced accommodations you cannot hear persons next door. It is located close to the station with infrequent train service.I will return for the Scottish ceildh in...

Good Service. We didn't make a booking so the waitress set up a whole new room for us. The food was really well cooked (almost the whole table had steak) and was really tasty. Nicely dated decor. Even though we where in a separate room to the main area (which was nicer) it was still a very nice area. Overall,...

I stayed a night here in April 2015. Its a classic, very original and charming old hotel located in the beautiful town of Bundanoon. I choose the ensuite room which was very comfortable with a modern bathroom, bed and furniture. The pub features the old style separated "saloon VIP" area and public bar which now of course are open to...

We booked one night at the hotel and were disappointed with most aspects of our stay. The hotel needs a major facelift if it wants to stay in business. The noise from the freight trains during the night was ridiculously loud. Not a very good night's sleep at all. The seating areas in the bars are grotty and way out of...
