Very nicely located in the middle of the rainforest and a true paradise for lovers of fauna and flora. The cottages are very spacy, nice and nothing lacked, but my hands were itching to give them a better clean. It is understood that keeping those clean in the midst of a forest may be a challenge, but with a little...

We stayed two nights in a clean and comfortable room, right in the rainforest. The trip down the driveway was an adventure to where? We felt that Harry Butler, or the very least Russell Coight, would jump out from behind a tree! Secluded, we were able to view a sugar glider on the second night. No phone service but they...

We had family from Interstate coming to visit and we wanted to show off as much of the gorgeous scenery that we could so a trip to Lake Eacham was definitely on the to do list. Being a group of 3 Adults and 2 teenagers we thought that finding accomodation (outside of a caravan/ villa park) would be hard. It...

This was our second stay at Chambers. We pre-book Room 1 as it has an elevated balcony to which birds will visit if you place cut fruit onto the balustrade. Lewin's Honeyeater, Spotted Catbird and Victoria's Riflebird will visit but you need to keep the Brush Turkeys at bay or they will clean you out of fruit in no time....

The lodges are located in Rainforest near Lake Eacham about 10 minutes drive from Malanda (North Queensland). The cabins are comfortable and clean, could do with some minor maintenance. Our sliding door to enter the cabin was very hard to slide. However, the cabins are set in beautiful rain forest setting and any minor maintenance issues are soon forgotten. This...

We went there to catch a glimpse of some of the more elusive (to us) rainforest animals. And we weren't disappointed. The spacious cabins on the edge of the rainforest were elevated so you felt like you were up in rainforest canopy. The highlight was the animals attracted to a viewing platform next to the cabins that was lit up...

Great rainforest location, cabins are a tat old but well maintained and the beds were the best on our trip. Nice to sleep to the sound of the rainforest There is a sugar glider viewing platform next to the cabins where you can play David Attenborough for a night. The owners are very nice and very knowledgeable when it comes...

These cabins are delightful and hidden away down a road through rainforest. The rooms have a king bed and living area/kitchen with all the self contained bits and bobs. They are snuggled into the rainforest so you are actually sitting in there on your verandah. Free wifi, good tv coverage and as there is no mobile coverage they have free...

Very happy with our stay here. Felt a world away from everyday life. My children age 11 and 13 enjoyed the wildlife, as did I. We also walked their bush walk which was so peaceful. The rooms are not flash but comfortable and certainly had everything you need. The pool was handy for a late afternoon swim too. We went...

This was our second 7-night stay and again we loved every minute. Rooms are comfortable, with resident rainforest birds always calling in for a visit. Great for wildlife viewing at night, local rainforest walks and close to plenty of regional produce and attractions. Very quiet and peaceful; a great place to unwind.
