Location is great, surrounded by the rainforest with lights at night, nearby the beach, we enjoy our stay. Facility is good, we used the guest kitchen many times. The only thing i would complain about is the girl at the reception. There is no phone connexion in this area so you expect that you will get nice advices.. except giving...

If you are planning to stay at Cape Tribulation for more than one day, this is your place to sleep at. It's directly at the beach in the middle of the rainforest. And the only acceptable restaurant within one-hour driving distance is integrated into the hostel. Now, other than that, the rooms were extremely small, not very clean, the staff...

Our family of 10 stayed 2 nights and were very happy with the accommodation - we stayed in 5 of the Ribbon cabins which are basic but the beds are comfortable and clean, they had tea & coffee and the cabins had hot showers and a few toiletries. There is a nice pool to relax in and the food &...

Got there for an overnight stay and was told that this was the best one of them all in Cape Tribulation. That was definitely bad advice. There are virtually zero activities to do on-site other than the swimming pool. The restaurant/bistro is astronomically overpriced where drinks are almost 10 dollars each. There are no power points in the room. No...

I have no idea what you are talking about; 1) there are power points in every room. 2) Drink and meal prices are very reasonable - you can purchase a burger, chips and beer for $16... 3) There is plenty to do - I would usually go on and on about how ridiculous this review is and attack every angle...

Great hostel right in the heart of Cape Tribulation. Great friendly staff (Matt even gave a group of 8 of us a lift to a creek!!). Would strongly advise buying the food add on option before arrival as they provide good quality meals and there are no shops nearby!

I stayed here for 2 nights during the wet season and it was brilliant. There was a massive storm on the second night which just added to the experience! Thomas was at reception during my stay and he did absolutely everything he could to assist me in booking and confirming all my touring. He was so polite and made the...

We stayed for two nights at the start of march during our three week holiday in Australia. We chose the beach house as we wanted something a bit different to the rest of our Australian experience and it didn't disappoint. We had a private ensuite cabin which was adequate for myself and my boyfriend. The double bed was comfy and...

My stay at Cape Tribulation was great. It's a peculiar place, right in the heart of the rain forest, so it's a nice get-away. I also booked a Night Tour of the rain forest: one of the best experiences I had during my stay in Australia. Marina, our guide, was extremely competent and entertaining, I would recommend doing this tour.

My friend and i stayed in a private ensuite room which was fine. It was a great experience but 1 night was enough as it was wet season!! We did activities including the night walk and ziplining and pleased we did as would've been a bit bored otherwise. Reception staff helpful and friendly. My only criticism would be that the...

Thank you for the review. Yes rain season - its a problem, and I do accept your frustration. I am happy to report that the rain has cleared and the days are becoming sunny and balmy. (I hope i used the word Balmy correctly as this is my first time I have used this word.) With regards to the food....
