We escaped to Cape Tribulation for a much needed break and staying at Cape Trib Farmstay was perfect. From the time we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and were given a comprehensive overview of the area over a lovely cup of tea under the verandah. Our cabin was clean and comfortable and what we expected. Each morning...

We are a family travelling with teenage boys on a 5 week tour of Australia's east coast (Well the warm bits anyway) We booked in with the Farm Stay as friends of ours had visited the year before and had given us such glowing recommendations. In short this place is unique and amazing. You become part of the family. The...

This is a beautiful and unique place. The location of the cabins in the orchard is amazing, the cabins are comfortable and very clean and most importantly you are welcomed by extremely friendly hosts. They introduce you to the aea giving lots of very valuable tips. Staying here just is an unbelievable experience. This comes highly recommended!

6 of us - 3 adults, 2 teenagers and a 10 year old - stayed for 3 nights in 2 cabins. They were spotlessly clean and functional and the setting in the orchard was beautiful. Having access to kitchen facilities and a wonderful breakfast basket of tropical fruit was a treat and saved us lots of money. Everything we needed...

My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and we had the most amazing time here. We felt welcomed, comfortable and at home within seconds of stepping into the property. As others have said before, it felt like we were visiting family. Greeted with a cool drink and provided with as much info on the area as possible we felt...

My wife and I and our adult son stayed 4 days this July. We could not have been happier, unless we stayed longer. It was like visiting an uncle and aunt on their farm. Dawn makes you feel at home and comfortable in the surroundings. They truly embrace their farm life in the rain forest and they shared their enthusiasm...

My sister (probably the last reviewer) had me visit Australia from the US and while in northern Queensland, we stayed here. I'm a big city boy from New York, so while I wasn't very used to having no air conditioning or being among trees, the experience was pleasantly surprising and very immersive. At night you can hear the sounds of...

My brother came over from the US and I wanted to show him the most 'real' Great Barrier Reef/FNQ by going up to Cape Tribulation and staying at Cape Trib Farmstay. I was so happy that I made that choice instead of staying in the usual hotels in Cairns and Port Douglas. Cape Trib Farmstay is a great little gem....

We intended to stay one night, but ended up staying the rest of our holiday here. Dawn is a great host and the place has a great atmosphere. The exotic fruit breakfasts were also a great thing. Make sure you have enough time to spend lazying on the verandah. Cape Trib is a special place. And the Farmstay is a...

We had a Cabin for two nights, which was lovely, clean, Free of insects, huge enough for two and in the middle of the fruit farm. On arrival we got a warm welcome with a lot of helpful information about tours, walks, etc. The fruit basket is fun, because you learn about tropical fruits, you have maybe never heard about...
