Stayed here for two nights, as a family of animal lovers we liked the idea of sleeping in a zoo. The room was lovely, the beds were so comfortable, the shower great. We had an en-suite room with small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The continental breakfast is included in the accommodation cost and consists of a selection...

Comfy rooms overlooking the zoo grounds. Watch kangaroos box each other over breakfast and chat to the cassowaries on your way out the door to explore the rainforest. Definitely the type of place that you should stay a week and enjoy the birdsongs and getting to know the animals and staff by name. No better way to enjoy Australian animals,...

I love the idea of a bed and breakfast attached to a zoo. The rooms are pretty big and your back porch walks right into the zoo, which you do have to pay to go to (50% discount though but you get 24 hour access for that day). We could walk out and feed the kangaroos and wallabies with a...

Loved the zoo itself, feeding the roos and seeing all the animals. Our room was very spacious, and there is a back door to the zoo. Their restaurant served us an extremely generous dinner, and breakfast the next morning (just coffee, juice, cereal & toast) was enjoyed by my family. Just be aware - there's no ensuite bathroom - it's...

Recently I stayed at this B & B close to the Daintree River in North Queensland. The ambience 'hits' you when you arrive to the open-air reception/bar/restaurant area. The large comfy rooms are upstairs and the verandah overlooks a Zoo! Yes, a well-kept collection of Aussie birds and animals are attached to the B & B grounds and accessed via...

Stayed at this B&B which is located on the grounds of the Daintree Wild Zoo, for a couple of nights in July and this is what we found: - The room is just gorgeous - very large with high ceilings which lets him a lot of light. The bathroom is open plan and around the corner from the bedroom without...

We had a lovely four night stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes animals or just wants a unique accommodation experience. Our kids LOVED it and will always remember staying in a zoo. The staff were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation (poolside) was spacious, clean and very good value. Sharing facilities...

Lovely couple of nights spent here. Loved the park, great to be able to take the kids in for a few minutes at a time - we never got bored of going to look at fabulous crocs!. Very special experience to be able to walk in at night and have a look around - something very haunting about seeing 2...

We booked the aviary room which was a beautifully clean and spacious room with a balcony overlooking the zoo. We had dinner at the restaurant twice as it was lovely food at very reasonable prices with personal and friendly service. The zoo itself was a lovely walk with the animals in spacious enclosures and many animals were free ranging. It...

Second extended visit and yet another thoroughly enjoyable stay. This is accommodation with a difference and will suit anyone wanting a unique wildlife experience. When the zoo closes you have the grounds to yourself and can walk the premises with complete freedom - watching the crocodiles, walking in the extended aviary or simply enjoying the 'tame' wallabies and pygmy goats...
