We stayed one night here whilst we did some crocodile viewing cruises in the Daintree. We slept in our campervan on an unpowered pitch as the difference between powered and unpowered is steep ($10 I believe). The bathroom facilities are good - they were clean and never a queue. The kitchen area was basic but had what we needed to...

Stayed in a lodge room. The room itself is small but right outside the rooms there is an enormous deck area with soft seating, table and chairs, a huge full kitchen across one side with every piece of kitchenware that you'd ever need. So you basically 'borrow' this whole area to use as your own. This whole deck overlooks the...

Well, what can I say?! The title sums it up! Absolutely beautiful! Lovely warm welcome from the owners Pete and Sally - both are super knowledgeable on all the wonderful things you can do in the area, they really helped us out with tour bookings in and around Daintree and Cape Tribulation!! Make sure you check out their historical exhibit,...

You don't come here for the rooms, they are quite basic but the aspect by the river is wonderful and it is an excellent base to explore the region. Lovely verandah with cooking facilities allows you to enjoy breakfast / coffee etc. while enjoying the river sights and sunsets. Sally and team are wonderful hosts.

We had one night in the 'deluxe queen room' which was great value. Having arranged in advance to arrive a bit later than usual check-in we got a warm welcome from the lovely hostess Sally. The room was clean with towels provided and it had an ensuite. We did not see the amazing view until the morning and had to...

I have to say when my husband and I first arrived at the lodge i thought id made a boo boo in booking a room there, how wrong i was. This place is amazing and gets you right back to life before the invension of technology. No tv in the room and no wifi meant getting back to basics, if...

High above the Daintree River is a huge balcony with a communal kitchen. Great to sit at night and watch the crocs swim by (you can see their orange eyes). All rooms are clean and comfortable with airconditioning.

Stayed here for 1 night and camp wasn't that busy so we had pick of the litter for a nice site. Lovely setting with lots of lush greenery, flowers, fruit trees and butterflies. Camp kitchen had all you needed to make some good grub and its bush camp set up and view were a real highlight. Helpful friendly staff and...

We booked into the premium room of the lodge having seen them online. Our $140 gave us a view of the river, a clean bed, bathroom, towel and piece of soap. The communal balcony contained tables and chairs, lounges and a kitchen area that were well past their use by date. The tea towel was only changed when we asked....
