Room was massively misrepresented by photos. Twin beds were very narrow singles, very close together. Deck tiles were cracked and chipped in the front corners and the deck felt very unsafe. There were holes in the corners of the deck which defeated the purpose of the mosquito netting! Dirty mark on the wall, light fittings dirty, bathroom tired and grungy....

Everything I had hoped for. beautiful rooms set up in the trees with just the sound of the forest when sitting on the verandah. Very good restaurant serving delicious food. A nice touch of a welcome drink in the evening.

A superb spot from which to visit the Daintree rainforest. The room was spacious and cool, with a kitchenette and an outside screened seating area. It looked out into the tree canopy. Dinner and breakfast both matched the quality of the rooms and the staff were extremely helpful. We stayed for three nights so that we had two full days...

Fabulous food, views and staff. Pricey, but worth it for a treat. The chalet accommodation is nice with great views over the forest and lodge. The grounds have beautiful flowers, plants, birds and butterflies. Enjoy!

We stayed here for four nights in the Canopy room. Great place to stay outside of port douglas if you want to be closer to croc spotting and cape tribulation activities but probably don't need any longer than 3 nights. Lovely room though, restaurant is lovely with a complimentary drink 5-6pm. Astrid at reception is lovely too.

Fabulous service before and during our stay. Updated private Banyan Canopy villas provide back to nature experience with spacious screened in porches. It rained every night, which was a relaxing and soothing experience with the doors open. The Food was excellent. Several delicious choices for dinner located in the covered outdoor setting. Very romantic. Astrid's recommendation for the sunset nature...

Staying in the Daintree was such a unique experience that I would recommend it to anyone who is interested. We flew into Cairns airport and arranged a hire car which allowed us to take in the beautiful coastal drive, approx. 1.5hrs. As the Daintree area is quite secluded a hire car is the best option I believe. There is a...

Stayed for 2 nights in a Banyan Canopy and loved every minute. Espececially we enjoyed the balcony where we -due to the fact that the whole canopy was "wrapped" in mosquito net - sat in the morning, the afternoon and the evening. As other mentioned the balcony was VERY private. The room was vey airy and spacious too. Also the...

It's a little out of the way, but so worth it - while we had breakfast under a canopied deck, a deluge of tropical rain beat down on the lake right next to us. Dinner was delicious and fairly prices for what it was (considering not a lot of options in the neighborhood). The bungalow was peaceful and quiet at...
