Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight at the Ecolodge. Our “cabin in the sky” was a great place to relax and feel as if you were part of the rainforest. Enjoyed the views and hike to the waterfall. We had 3 children with us from almost 4...More
We stay at ecolodges wherever we can, and Daintree Ecolodge is a definite standout. Set in a lush rainforest by Daintree National Park, the lodge is arranged around a beautiful pond and its very own onsite creek-cum-waterfall. We loved our tastefully decorated Garden Bayan (cabin)...More

We look forward to seeing you next time Niko. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your review.
I decided to splurge and spend $345 for 1 night in the rainforest. For the price I was expecting luxury but I was quite disappointed. The bathroom is very run down with stained grout, rusty metal, rattly fan and slight mound on roof. Half the...More
Great place to stay; excellent service and the restaurant and food were very good. However would caveat that this is not in the depths of the rainforest but off of the road heading up toward Daintree Village, so there was some traffic noise which did...More
We had such a good time here. Amazing experience. The audio commentary, the guide book and the signage made the walks so much more fascinating and meaningful. Canopy tower climb well worthwhile old bones climbing. Educational and fun. Even saw a cassowary and it’s chick....More

Yes there were children under 2 there (a baby) and I had my 8 year old son. We couldn't hear any noise at night (no crying). They will prepare child-friendly food for you for breakfast if needed (my son loves bacon so no problems there). Very friendly and if I remember correctly, in the main reception there were some children's books/activities there in the library section.

Whilst the lodge does provide all the creature comforts of a luxury resort, we do also pride ourselves on being a truly unique rainforest experience. A part of this is being close to nature, that at times can be a little noisy. Our guest villas do completely seal closed, but we can not guarantee that they will block out all of the noise of the forest.
As much as we would hate to lose you as a guest, we would also hate for you to be disappointed by inaccurate information.
Hoping that you can now make an informed decision as to where to stay!
