I really enjoyed my stay there. It's so nice with all the nature around the hostel. There are so many different animals living there. The staff was really friendly and it's easy to get in touch with the other guests - no Party Hostel where everyone is hungover the next day! Best hostel I stayed, so far! Going to stay...

we only stayed one night in chalet 23 but was a fantastic night - we'd opted to go to the bay and have a few drinks and walk back. we didnt manage to see any resident animals - just a few wild wallabies there but i have heard good things in all about the way they are treated here which...

On the first day we arrived, we paid $29 each to do participate in the Wildlife Presentation - it was well worth it! We got to meet and hold a cockatoo, baby crocodile, an assortment of lizards, tortoises, koalas and a snake! We learnt lots about them and their habitat too. We absolutely loved our little A-frame bungalow, the only...

We have been travelling up the east coast for the last two months in search of somewhere to hold a koala! Visiting Australia zoo (which was great) was very expensive to hold a koala for a backpacker budget so we held off! As we arrived on magnetic island we were informed about a koala sanctuary near horseshoe bay.. we gave...

We only camped here for 5 nights. We can't really say what the rooms were like. For it being budget, the A-frame huts looked ok from the outside. Camp setting was ok. Only in the shower and toilet block I noticed when we arrived the soap container on the wall was empty and never replaced for 4 days. And in...

This hostel looks really nice. The dorm rooms are new and nice and the shower is good. Also the pool area is great as well as the bar. Unfortunatly the staff is very very very rude and doesn't care about the people there. If you want to use the kitchen there to feed yourself, forget it! First you have to...

For the price of the accomodation, it's fair to say that it's quite a good place for a short stay. The aircon works fine and they have a fan as back up as well. I was surprised it has a mini fridge that works well too. Lighting is so so. I still managed to read a book at night. The...

Would definitely recommend we had the car with roof top tent. Sites were very good & varied to suit all needs toilets & showers were very spacious & looked after. Site positions are very scenic & the wallabies visit early morning & on dark. The bar & food are was very comfy & welcoming. Prices were probably the most reasonable...

This place is both a hostel, pool, and a separate wildlife tour. Mikaela was our guide and did a terrific job. You have the opportunity to hold most of the animals and the entire tour is very interactive and educational. This outfitter is also a sanctuary for koalas and other animals.

Was directing a study abroad program and stayed there for 4 days. Brett and his team were very friendly. Students loved the place and enjoyed "Earth hour" (at 8pm they turn off the wifi and encourage people to talk and play games). Place has shared facilities like kitchen and laundry. The hostel also has a tiny store, and of course,...
