We have just returned home from three nights stay in one of the cottages. Warm and comfortable , beautiful views, so relaxing we were reluctant to leave. Bev must be the worlds best hostess . Breakfast each morning was delicious as were the evening meals. My husband can highly recommend Bev's Beef and Shiraz pie, the best he has ever...

Thank you Patricia B. for your fantastic review, I did enjoy meeting you both. The Pie has been on the Menu since day 1 and looks like it will remain there. Every time I think of changing it to something else, there is an outcry. I am glad he enjoyed it. I look forward to catching up with you both...

We loved every minute of our stay at the cottages. The cottages were comfortable with everything we needed, great fireplace to keep you warm on cold days. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, fresh and of a high standard. I had some dietary requirement and Bev went out of her way to accommodate me. Also loved the birdlife and wallabies....

The mountain/valley views from each of the cottages and cafe are stunning and the gourmet food and service are superb. If you're looking for a place to unwind and rejuvenate, this is the place for an affordable luxury getaway for your family or a romantic stay. If you're like me, you'll be back!

Beautiful setting. Lovely atmo sphere. Great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend it. We will definitely visit again. Advise to book weekends, as gets busy. BYO corkage charged. Reasonable prices and good selection. Excellent coffee.

Thank you jdrew43 for your review, we do appreciate it. We do get busy on weekends and are presently having the garden area enlarged and the Cafe verandah extended. You are right though, it is a good idea to make a booking for the Cafe to avoid disappointment . Hope you can visit again.

We spent 2 nights staying in the Rainbow Lorikeet Cottage. It is a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway, with the most amazing views from the picture windows. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. It had a well equipped kitchenette that could be used for preparing a light meal. Once we got the fire going properly it was also...

Sue, thank you for your wonderful review. I am so glad you enjoyed you stay here. It is a wonderfully peaceful place with abundant wildlife. So glad you enjoyed your meals too. I have thought about rugs for the floors but there is the problem that some people may trip or slip on them. I am though, having new floors...

Heading back to Toowoomba after camping at Moogerah Dam, we called into Boonah Information centre and realising Killarney was only an hour away, off we headed. It was a beautiful drive even though quite late intraday and we were accompanied by bellbirds most of the way. The cottage was very clean, spacious and tidy. The fireplace and timber provided was...

Lunch was superb. The menu provided interesting choice and each dish that we had had that 'something special' plus excellent balance of flavours. The view is pretty impressive as well. Desserts were probably too large, but no complaints as they were delicious

We recently stayed for a weekend in the King Parrot cottage. The cottage was fantastic with spectacular views over the gorge. Both sunset and sunrise were unbelievable and there is lots of wildlife such as parrots, wallabies etc. Queen Mary Falls are only a short distance away. The weather was cold (about 2 degrees overnight) but the cottage was warm...
