We had just the best 3 days imagineable here ; and we felt so privaledged to be able to reside in comfy digs and soak -in the atmospheric surrounds of this Homestead and outbuildings built in circa 1848. We cooked all our meals in a "proper" kitchen and eat sitting out on the verandah and watched the horses and cattle...

We were made very welcome at this historic homestead in spite of a measure of ill health of one of the owners. Our cottage, the Singlemens Quarters, was traditional and cosy with a kitchen and fireplace, a great bed and most importantly everything was very clean. The two decks allow for sitting in the sun at different times of the...

Thank you Irene and Alex for your generous comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your time at Taabinga Homestead in spite of our distractions with ill health. Colin remains in hospital in Brisbane and is looking forward to returning to the healing qualities of the Homestead.

We stayed two nights in The Store which was extremely well appointed. It is definitely home away from home and very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Kingaroy area.

This is a great spot to get away and forget about life for a while. With three children under 7 it's hard to find a place that you can let the kids roam and ride their bike without any stress. The kids got to help feed the cows and horse and a Koala even stopped by to say hello while...

Our visit was a quick trip for work but it was a pleasure to stay in a romantic cottage surrounded by an expansive garden and historic buildings. What a pleasure it is that the same family lines have been there since 1887. Hosts were very kind and breakfast was large and delightful and the accommodation with relaxing country charm just...

We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it despite some much needed rain falling. Wildlife is abundant and the grounds are excellent. A wander around the old buildings on the grounds was a delight - the history of the homestead is worth reading although Libby and Colin know everything and more about the property. We stayed in the the...

Thankyou for this review. We had been worried that the rain we were so keen to get might spoil your stay and appreciate your understanding! Your comments are much appreciated and we will continue to do our best to maintain Taabinga Homestead for the enjoyment of all of our guests. Colin

Our family of four spent two nights in the Singlemen's Quarters. We were all so excited about our farmstay adventure and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is homely, clean, comfortable and with loads of attention to detail. The setting is beautiful with incredibly well maintained and picturesque surroundings. We filled our days with visits to the animals...

We had a fabulous stay in the Singlemen's Quarters at Taabinga. The old buildings have been lovingly cared for over the years and are very comfortable. A big wood heater kept us warm and cosy. Colin and Libby were delightful hosts. Libby took the kids to feed the horses and Colin took us all into the paddocks to see the...

Thanks for you comments Jackie. I am pleased that you enjoyed your time at Taabinga Homestead and your exploration of our district and its attractions. As luck has it, the next calf was delivered on the day after your departure, but the children still got to see some of our very young 'babies'. Best wishes, Colin

We stayed 3 nights in the Singlemen's Quarters cottage. The people are gracious and friendly but not intrusive. Ignore the name as the building is beautifully renovated with room to move. It is a bit out of town but if you are looking for a nice quiet place this is it. We didn't want to leave.

We spent two nights at Taabinga Homestead with our two year old and we all loved it. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean and situated in two of the old farm buildings near to the house.
