We had stayed here some years ago and were most pleased with it then .So this time booked a cabin again . The whole park just seems run down - lots of weeds everywhere , one pool had not been cleaned . Cabin showed signs of wear , different handles on each tap , etc Bed was fine and cabin...

I guess this is what happens to a site when you have major attractions and limited competition. The site is huge many sites and many cabins, there is not one bitumised road, not a blade of grass other than around the amenities block, if it was wet it would be awful. Strong winds blew lots of dust . We arrived...

Ok we read lots of bad reviews and was concerned about staying. But we were happy we did, we had plenty of room. And yes there was no grass and you can see they don't really put in any extra to change this, but I felt we are in the outback and didn't really bother us. But yes I could...

Very poor accomodation, overpriced for what it is,dirty and very basic. Stay out of town at ilfracombe it's much nicer, friendlier and clean! It seemed to me that Longreach tourist park was after a full site and nothing matters except that, doesn't have to be clean or friendly as no one goes back!

First appearance was not impressed, all dirt and dry, weeds everywhere, we had an ensuite site which was just dirt, on our second day we had 5mm of rain and this turned the whole park into a quagmire, just getting to the on site restaurant was not easy in the mud, we had to drive. Decided to leave a day...

We have just called in today, there is no grass what so ever, just dirt and dust (wind blowing at 30-50kms) good drive in sites but a bit close together with concrete slabs, a few scattered trees but they do not give shade, amenities block is good and well kept and the staff happy and smiling

This park would not rival any competitor caravan park in Longreach. All dirt, no shade, amenities 1960, Camp Kitchen needs an overall and not well equipped, If it rains hook your caravan up immediately or you willl never get out.

It is an OK site to stay at. Close to tourist attractions such as the Qantas Museum and the Stockman's Hall of Fame. Would not like to be here in the peak season. We had an ensuite caravan site, and the amenities were very good. The reception on arrival could have been more welcoming, and had a bit of personality...

Cannot believe how awful this park was.No grass, just dirt. The ammenities need lots of work and the roads in the park were a disgrace.Longreach is a great place to visit and the Stockman's Hall of Fame and Quantas Museum are fantastic.Could not recommend this Tourist Park though

Recently we stayed for 4 nights in a powered van site. Nothing has been updated since our visit 8 years ago. The showers are disgusting with broken concrete and peeling paint. There is no proper drainage around the internal roads. A staff member in a park vehicle enjoyed drifting side ways in the very wet and muddy conditions.
