We again stayed at Possums Tail cottage which is set in very pleasant countryside with lovely views of the fields from its balcony. It location is great for easy access to Maleny and Montville with Caloundra also being only 30 mins The cottage is ok, but still needs some tlc and general upkeep. Fresh lick of paint, repair some holes... More

Nice 2 story cottage in the grounds of a wedding reception venue. We stayed 2 days mid week. Quite a large cottage, double bed downstairs off the living room and a double and single upstairs. Toilet downstairs, full bathroom upstairs. Furnished very "cottagy". We enjoyed our stay but really feel the place could do with an update as it is... More

I stayed there in Possums Nest 2 years ago and supplied a list of things that had to be done. 2 years on I decided to give it ago again. To my dismay, the list I gave them must have been thrown away as all was ignored. I had invited friends from Brisbane to stay and share the meal that... More

My partner & I stayed in Possums Nest for 3 nights while attending a wedding nearby. When booking, we were confirmed with a wheelchair accessible room (my partner is disabled), but when we arrived we found the room wasn't completely accessible. He couldn't even enter the room without assistance due to quite a large step at the front door. He... More

We stayed at Possums Nest for 2 nights and found the accommodation very nice. 3.5 Star rating, but only because it is starting to show its age a little. The Kitchen was excellent and had everything needed for a weekend (like us) or a fortnight. The beds were super comfy and the fire place was a god send when the... More

My husband and I took advantage of a Deals voucher and stayed at the Badgers Wood cottage at The Laurels. It is located directly across the road from the Maleny Cheese Factory (one of our favourite places at Maleny). Badgers Wood Cottage is a cozy little place with one quite large room containing a kitchen, a lounge with a wood... More

We have stayed at Possums nest on several occasions! We attended weddings and birthday parties!! When ever we want to just get away for a couple of days this is one of our favourite get aways! It has two large bedrooms open plan living with a fully functioning kitchen! Beautiful breezes in the summer on the balcony that overlooks endless... More

We stayed at Wattle Lane for a family wedding...the upstairs area is ok but the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs are ramshackle, cupboards without doors, disgusting rotting cane ceiling fans, busted flyscreens, chairs too dirty to sit on, fake fingernails lying around. I asked cleaning staff if she could clean the outdoor chairs so that we could use them I was... More

We had a family event so stayed at the Laurals Wattle Lane property. Location and grounds are good. However the property was not as good as I thought. The property is large and reasonably well appointed, but let down on several fronts. The place felt and looked a bit grimey, and the rooms downstairs had a strong musty pong. The... More

I was a little apprehensive about my stay at Possums Tail because of previous reports I had read but my apprehension was ill-founded. The cottage is well appointed although the bath is really only suitable for a midget but it requires a good spring clean. I do not intend to itemise the minor items which need attention suffice it to... More
