My wife and I just spent two nights in the all-inclusive deluxe tent. The staff made the stay outstanding, their knowledge of the wild-life around the Lodge was amazing, and nothing was a problem. The family of Emu's were very cool. Strongly recommend dinning at the Lodge as the meals are a hearty country meal, and a great opportunity to...

We loved Jabiru Lodge! The staff could not have been more friendly, even taking us to their homestead to see the wildlife and lifestyle there on one of the tours. Fascinating. Loved all the tours and the emus, possum and frilled lizard that visited our lodge. We went all inclusive which included the tours and all food, which was delicious...

Staying in a cabin with fully inclusive services was a brilliant experience. So close to nature and the outback but also the lake and savannah. A terrific place for bird watchers too. Service was lovely and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure I got the most out of my stay.

We stayed in a 'tent' - more a portacabin, with wooden balcony at the front, and corrugated iron extension at the back with bathroom facilities. Not luxurious, but more than adequate. Set in a remote savannah landscape, perfect quiet, animals, birds and lizards passing by all the time. Greg and Margaret own a cattle farm, and run this tourist enterprise...

We stayed in a cabin with electricity - a must have upgrade for us. The best parts of the trip were the wonderful, extensive fresh breakfasts on our balcony in sight of friendly, local emus; kayaking across the lakes surrounded by abundant birdlife; a very personal and unique insight into savanna life from the resident guide (we visited his home...

Something a bit out of the ordinary, the safari is awesome our host was very talkative and informative about the wide range of birds we saw. Dinner at night was superb, a heaped portion of Barramundi and veges was just what we needed.

From the Emu's that greeted us at the Lodge entrance to the great food and help of the owners, this place is a nature paradise. The tents are comfortable and the main Lodge is right on a lake surrounded by huge trees. You could spend days birding right there. Combine that with guided boat trips and van safaris and you...

Had a great dinner on the deck- with sunset views across the water and then had the safari feel tent accommodation ( do not let the idea of a tent put you off, it has full size beds, shower and toilet inside, it was a lot bigger than most of the motel rooms I stay in) When had the privilege...

Staying in the deluxe tent while emu's pass the veranda was an unique Experience. Especially because a huntsman spider decided to hunt next to our bed the first night. We enjoyed the Safari and learned a lot on all the Different birds in the mareeba wetlands.

I had an unbelievable stay at Jabiru Safari Lodge. I don't know where to begin! It is a small family run business, and so you get to know the owners, Margaret and Greg (who are wonderful, kind, genuine people). They spend time and get to know you personally, and tell you about their lifestyle here. The safaris are incredible, both...
