Stayed at Argyle in the Park for a couple of nights to get away. Great spot and handy walking distance to the beach and also shopping at Sunshine Plaza. Was a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the bathroom and very minimal complimentary bathroom soaps/ shampoos and coffee/tea items for the price per night. (Most places provide a least a few toiletry items). Also, no vessel to hold cold water so has to use a Pyrex jug! Decor was lovely and bed very comfortable. If you don’t care for the freebies a lovely place to stay.

We booked Unit 11 for 1 x month through Norm Martin, a local Real Estate Agent, and stressed when making the booking that I had restricted mobility and was the holder of a Disabled Parking Permit and required easy access plus Safe and secure Undercover Car Parking. When we arrived at the Apartments there were signs in the Basement advising that there were cracks in the Concrete floors above Car Parks 6 to 12 and to 'cover your car to stop concrete Lime damage to the car paintwork when it rained'. This is the Storm season in Qld so it was raining and continued to rain. As the apartment was not booked through the Management at Argyle I had to direct contact Norm Martin, the Real Estate Agent, and expressed my disappointment with the condition of the Car Parking and the injury risk also to me of falling on the wet slippery concrete in the Car Bays. I received a call from the agent to advise me that the Owner now wanted us to park our car outside in the street or the open public car park at the rear of the Apartments which means we will be walking on wet, slippery painted concrete with oil spills on it and no protection for the car from possible Hail. The Agent offered to relocate us - Totally at our expense and $300 a week increase in rental ($1,200.00) increase for 4 x weeks - also we would have to move again as they could not offer anything for the full 4 x weeks.
They apparently do not understand that I have restricted mobility and require a walking aide for stability.
There are no Designated Disabled Parking spaces in the Apartment Car Parking.
As my wife was employed for 4 x weeks relief work she was not available to assist in relocation.
Apartment No.11 itself was ideal for our short term requirements and has had an internal renovation to Kitchen, Living and Bedroom.
It is a very small 1 x Bedroom, very clean and well kitted out however; there is no oven and we were not informed of this exclusion until we arrived on the scene.
Be aware that there is no designated safe, secure parking for Disabled Parking.
Also be aware that you have to supply all of your Bedding; Towels; T-Towels.

Fantastic location across from the park and aquatic centre in Cotton Tree. It’s only a short walk to Big Top shopping centre and Sunshine Plaza plus the huge variety of eating/nightlife along Duporth Ave.
There is also lots of great cafes and local shops surrounding the hotel and a street market 1 minute walk away held on Sunday mornings.
The room was an adequate size and most importantly, super clean! Will definitely be back!! 😃

I wouldn’t stay here again. I would have mentioned my concerns to a member of staff, had I met one... Saturday night stay and peak season but no receptionist at all. Place is very run down and dirty. Coffee table still had crumbs from previous guests (great COVID clean guys!). Simple things would improve it a little, like a lick of paint, basic maintenance, some curtain hooks, a good clean and if there’s no aircon or ceiling fan in a bedroom (in qld?!) then buy a decent pedestal fan!

We booked then cancelled a stay over a month before traveling, received confirmation of the cancellation. Then I received a message the day we were supposed to arrive telling me where the key was I rang straight away and explained that we had cancelled, Karen called me back and apologized (their mistake etc.) they had taken the money out but it would be back in our account within 24 hours. Long story short to the money wasn't put back in until a week later. When we phoned after day 5 Karen was do rude & she actually hung up on us. Not a good way to run a business very poor customer service.

We stayed there for one week & pretty disappointed. The room was very stuffy & dated. We unfortunately locked out keys in the room on the second night (Sunday) about 6pm. I had to buzz at the front door & explain to the manager (who lives in the building) what had happened & she was not happy. She then let me in then left me out the lift on the floor but did not open my door & continued back to her apartment. What the??? I had told her we had no keys. I then had to go down to reception & ring her mobile number. She was not very happy at all to come down on the lift again to open my door. That’s her job!!! It wasn’t midnight it was only 6pm. So not a great
Experience & definitely would not go back again.

Have to agree with the last few reviews. The property managers are appalling. We were regulars here for over ten years but have shied away specifically because of the rude, arrogant property managers. They have also let the venue become very tired and a little grubby during their tenure, all the little "extras" that make a place comfortable have been removed over the years and not replaced (eg. lamps, hairdryer, valances on bed, cushions, bedside alarm clock, tissues, tea/coffee/small pack of complimentary biscuits and insufficient toiletries for the length of your stay). There are also always issues with the garage door. The managers are largely unavailable when you need help, or if they do respond, you get a mouthful for having dared interrupt them, particularly from Karen. When I tried to respectfully raise some of the issues with her, she told me to stay elsewhere next time as we obvious can't be pleased! She would be well suited to work in a correctional facility - not hospitality. What a welcome piece of news that the management rights are for sale. Let's hope whomever takes over is a people person!

“Argyle on the Park” is in a prime position at Cotton Tree as it so very close to shops, beach and Maroochy River mouth.
The only down side is it is dusty in places and room needed a proper clean.
Can’t comment on the management though as were not to be seen much.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit on level 3. It had a pleasant view from the balcony and the location was very good. We were disappointed with the unit as it was so small, tiny kitchen and no where to store our luggage etc. The bedroom was very small with a double bed. The bathroom, toilet and laundry were combined in a very compact area which was not at all comfortable.
