I tend to rate parks based on their showers. The showers were timed 4 min for womens showers and 3 min for the men's. It would take 30 secs to stabilise temp then it would drift again. Noting there is a 2 min delay after your time is up. There are three showers, two toilets and one single urinal, given...

Again stayed at this park and again wasnt diappointed, very friendly staff, large camping sites all with their own fire pit. There is access to the Storm King dam from the park for kayaks and small boats. Its a little out of town but well worth the drive, no traffic noise at night.

We camped here for 1 week with 3 other families with a little overlap into Easter weekend. Our stay was great, the facilities were kept clean and the staff were friendly. Pippa succeeded in altering our booking even at the last minute and made an enormous effort to accommodate our every need. We were close enough to drive into town...

Positives: 1. Drive-through powered sites excellent, spacious and quite private from other campers. 2. The dedicated fire-pits for the chilly nights. 3. Pet friendly and plenty of space for you to walk your dog. 4. View of Storm King Dam and short drive to the other side if you want to take advantage of the picnic area. 5. We found...

We really enjoyed Sommerville Valley Tourist Park, friendly staff Pippa and Simon. Great drive through level concrete sites, spacious, clean facilities, fantastic hot showers (4min timer) certainly enough time, beautiful views of storm king dam. We did have a few inconsiderate ppls walking through our site (25) to get to the facilities. We enjoyed the proximity to both Bald Rock...

We chose this park instead of staying in town to see if it was as good as the reviews. We didn't think so. There are nice grassy drive through sites with good concrete pads. The amenities, although fairly new, aren't well designed. The showers are simply designed but not user friendly when you go to get dried and dressed. The...

Ditto to all the other positive reviews. This beautiful tourist park is suitable for tents and vans plus there are cabins. Everything is well spaced so no over crowding. Beautiful by the lake/dam as the sun goes down with a wine.

My friends and I stayed one night only as this was all the time we had. So pleased that we made the effort though. Beautiful location, clean and tidy amenities and large drive through sites suitably positioned to allow for privacy. The dam was like a mirror and we took advantage to kayak. I will most certainly be returning. Just...

About 10 mins from Stanthorpe, the park has powered and unpowered sites, basic cabins and luxurious cabins - something to suit everyone. The park borders part of Storm King Dam - great location for boating, fishing, kayaking. The sites were huge with fire pits - great for a fire on the chilly days. Make sure you bring warm clothing, even...
