We stayed in the green cabin with outside toilet for a couple of nights. We chose this location because we were visiting a relative living nearby. We had the option to choose from other newer and more expensive cabins, but we decided to go with the cheaper option. We were told at the time of the booking that the cheaper...

Thanks for your review and so glad you enjoyed your stay at our park. We have put new kitchens in all the other cabins, and the green cottage is about to start. The problem is the timber cupboard doors which are stained, but actually clean. You'll be pleased to know the upgrade starts tomorrow so hope you can come back...

We rented a cabin for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Cabin had everything we needed and was perfectly clean. Staff was very kind and competent, they gave us plenty of information on what to see. Fast Wifi. Comfortable public area. Nice garden with birds and cute chicks. Well sorted, affordable shop. Lake Eacham was great for swimming, jogging...

A rustic caravan park set amongst the rainforest. Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, it was quite muddy when we visited, but the concrete slab did help. The amenities were in keeping with the rustic feel of the park. The large, grassed camping area was more open than the slabbed sites. The owners were very friendly and helpful; their chooks...

Stayed in one of their older cabins - the stench was disgusting as well as the filth. Outside bathroom facilities did not have any window/exhaust fan - so you can imagine the smell. Laundry facilities - if you could find them in the dark, were poor - 1 machine & 1 dryer (dryer was really good though). Unmade and very...

Hello Debbie, We would appreciate a phone call to explain the problems so we can attend to them. We need to know about the filth and the stench as we are having trouble locating same. Wondering if the oven was missed by our usually fastidious cleaner. There can be a musty smell after many days of rain but its usually...

Lake Eacham Caravan park is a small park within walking distance of Lake Eacham set in the rain forest. The facilities are more than adequate with a fantastic camp-kitchen. We stayed more than a week- and found and photographed some of the iconic birds of the rainforest relatively easily- Golden Bowerbird,Victoria's Riflebird, Chowchilla, Spectacled and Pied Monarch and Rufous Fantail to...

Thanks for your lovely words. Just had a drama - a Grey Goshawk attacked my chickens and the mother hens fought it off! They're pretty feisty, my hens.

Absolutely loved this place from the moment we drove in. We had a grasses powered site. There were pavered powered sites but we had a tent so it was great having grass. They have a lovely quintessential camp kitchen, fairly clean bathrooms and a little shop just in case you forget something. If you're into bird watching you have your...

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay here. Very nice park worth a stay overnight. Short drive to Lake Eacham definitely take your togs. Very nice management, recommended stay if you are tenting. Camp kitchen is cozy and the life of the party.

If you are touring around the tablelands, this is a very accommodating place to park and camp. There is a general store with wonderfully nice people in a relaxed atmosphere. The property has beautiful camping spots in a lawn area with trees, shade, bamboo, and a pond with ducks. Check out the lake and swim which is very close by....

We loved this caravan park. It did have a few disadvantages, the amenities were small and needed some tlc, and they were a fair walk from most of the sites. The sites were small and difficult to get into and out of. The little shop was great, with a large range of items, the type you usual run out of...

This place is fantastic for swimming and I would recommend bringing pool noodles/Li-lo for extended relaxing in the cool water. The walking track is also worth it and offers the opportunity to see lizards, bush-turkeys and the like. Awesome swimming in the summer months :).
