I stayed there for one night. Friendly atmosphere. Booked in and around 5pm the lady came to my room and gave me fresh home cooked scones, with jam and cream. The dinner around 7pm was divine, home cooked roast lamb with all the trimming, and very well priced. They also baked their own bread. As a Sales Executive, and I...

My two 3 year olds, our au pair, our Dog and I stayed at the Curtin Fig Motel for two nights while escaping cyclone Debbie. From the first phone call to book the room to the check-out, the owners Mark and Jane provided flawless service. Nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed with some delicious homemade scones and jam!...

The little dogs were very cute and the standard of the room was high. We had breakfast the next morning which was excellent and the home made bread was delicious. We...

The first thing we noticed in the room was heaps of black MOULD in the shower. A quick spray with mild bleach would have removed this. The second thing was the thick dust on the wall above the bed, on the pelmet for the light above the bed and anywhere else you cared to look. I sneezed all night instead...

You know, I find it sad when people do not give us the chance to put things right. Like Voltaire, I believe everyone has the right to their opinions: but I also believe in the right of reply. Obviously, we let you down. But, as you did not tell us, we had no opportunity to move you, or refund your...

We stayed at the Curtain Fig Motel for two nights on our family tour of Cairns and surrounds. The owners were lovely and very helpful with advice of where to go and what to see and where to eat! The rooms were as pictured and the room and beds provided a good night sleep. We had our own breakfast supplies...
