What a lovely, clean and tidy park, great facilities. A great camp kitchen and exceptional laundry (modern machines and detergent supplied) A real surprise as it did not look much from the road. One of the best parks we have stayed in. So great we decided to stay an extra night. A credit to the owners.

We're very happy you enjoyed your stay with us ... although the entrance is much improved, we still have more to do and it was fun (for me) talking with Gary about extra planting beyond our boundary to brighten up the area (subject to council consent). We have a big job with interpretation, which includes updating signage and 'before and...

Quorn Caravan Park is a great place to stay. The park is lovely & green with beautiful gum trees providing lots of shelter. It is very quiet & peaceful but still within walking distance to the town. Although the adult facilities are rather old, they are very clean & tidy!! It has a children's bathroom with a baby bath &...

2016 has seen the Flinders Ranges looking the best in 30 years, according to many locals. We are ideally situated to town and the region. With a strong environmental focus, we take a 'function before form' approach (although we do like beautiful things) and maintain and update with care, doing our best not to be wasteful. Having said that, our...

From the first minute, Quorn Caravan Park delighted us. Our site was perfect and the facilities were first class, clean and close at hand. The park was quiet yet within close walking distance to the town - perfect for walking to the pub for dinner! We loved every aspect of our stay. We went to Quorn specifically to walk Dutchman's...

It's been a while since we received your review, Lindsay ... thanks so much ... we were delighted too! I thought I understood your unfinished comments about the Dutchmans at the time ... I'm expecting that you either weren't disappointed ... or ... you were unable to walk the Dutchmans because of feral goat control. I hope it was the...

Just 35 kms out of Pt Augusta we decided to call into Quorn whilst returning with caravan from WA enroute to Bordertown SA. The park is well located and easy walking distance to town centre which offers a choice of eating places predominantly via a selection of hotels. Shady , clean , roomy and spread amongst the trees gives a...

This park was very good in all sorts of ways. Great location and facilities. We had a cabin that was extremely comfortable and warm. There were only two of us but it would have been great for a family too. We were impressed by the attention to the environment- surrounds, using only environmentally friendly washing powder and the provision of...

Thanks for your review (sorry for the delay in responding!). When travelling I'm always happy to find a compost bin too. Our Sturts Desert Pea was perhaps the most photographed item in the Flinders Ranges in 2016. Apologies for the oven; it's been a frustrating exercise finding a replacement. Because of demand, we're unable to provide single night accommodation in...

Stayed here October 2016 for 4 night. The park is 'country style' not a city or corporate 'resort style' park. Easy walk to the township for supplies etc. good camp kitchen and fire pit area. Amenities block is older style, but well maintained and very clean. Sites are a good size. Water available to powered sites. No sullage. Not an...

Owners, Gary and Bronwyn, are welcoming and very helpful. They obviously take pride in their caravan park and repeat guests commented on how much they had improved it over the years. They are concerned for the environment and the cabin our friends stayed in even had a receptacle for compost. Facilities were clean. It is a short walk to the...

It's good to hear that return guests are acting as ambassadors! :) The park's changed a lot in the time we've been here ... perhaps this summer is the time to work on interpretation, particularly with 'before and after' photos. We get a lot of joy in knowing that we are helping biodiversity in caring for our ageing Red Gums....

Friendly & helpful owners; we appreciated their evident emphasis & work on being as environmentally sustainable as possible; a really well planned & maintained caravan park with good facilities & lovely native gardens. We do have a strong environmental focus and the reward of gardening is more families of kookaburras and other bird life, which is wonderful. We've had good rainfall this year and travellers are marvelling at the greenery (some not believing that we're in a semi-arid area!). Quorn is a lovely, historic town and just a short stroll away.
