This is my usual hotel that I stay in for a week or so every month. Good location and reasonable accommodations for the most part.

Last week, I stayed for 3 nights and as usual, I put the “no service needed” placard on my door. When I came back Wednesday night, I noticed several 6” to 8” long black hairs laying on the tile floor by the sink/bathroom area. I usually notice details like this when I first enter my room because I sanitize all main contact areas - germaphobe.

No manager ever contacted me about this. Even after I brought a couple hairs up to the employee working the front desk. I would expect some apology.

Tonight, I check in at 12:30a and there were 2 people working the front desk. One I new and we exchanged our normal banter (she is fun to talk with).

Another employee was standing there not helping or doing anything so - being tired and wanting to get to my room, I asked, “Could you get me my 2 bottles of water?”

He acted offended and said, “ You don’t need to talk to me like that.” I apologized for his interpretation of my request. I didn’t think it would be a big deal to ask him to help check in a customer who was probably tired and wanting to get to bed.

Customer service employees need to expect a little banter and/or to be anticipating their customer’s needs. Snowflakes should not be working at the front desk.

I will keep staying here. Reasonable place by comparison. Normally a friendly team and concerned management.

First, the manager, Kurt was a gem. Shana at the desk was amazing. And Bruce the maintenance guy and shuttle driver was a model for any hotel worker, when I offered him a tip for the free shuttle service, he turned me down and said he had never taken a gratuity in thirty years of working in hotels. The staff only set the standard for a hotel that had fairly priced and fully furnished mini-suites. Ok, breakfasts could had been a bit better, but they were more than adequate. If this hotel is a representative of the chain, this is a chain not to be missed.

During COVID-19, my husband and I decided to traveled to Ohio to visit family. We choose Home2 Suites because of the location. We love Beachwood. The hotel lobby was clean and modern. A wear face mask was displayed. They supplied hand sanitizer and had a nice social distancing circle on the floor. Plexiglass to protect the staff as well as customer. Only two people at a time on elevator. The room had a sticker on door to indicate cleanliness. The room was modern, clean and smell fresh. The TV remote had a adhesive sticker for being cleaned. We had bagged breakfasts. The breakfast was surprisingly good.

I am a Hilton Honors member, I love all of their brands and try to stay at as many Hilton owned hotels as I can for both personal and business and normally I have wonderful stays and when the stay isn’t so great I can speak to someone and things are made better, but NOT at this hotel. Let’s start with checkin and room reservation; I used the Hilton app to check into my room the night before my stay, the app asked for a time I would actually get to the hotel and I entered 4pm (actually getting there around 3:50-3:55pm) and when I got to the front desk the man was not only extremely rude to me, but tells me I have to wait or pick a different room due to house keeping still hasn’t cleared my room yet for checkin. Well, if I checked in the night before and gave you the time I would be there, my room should have been checked, cleared and made ready WAY before I showed up. So standing in the lobby waiting a good 20-25 minutes before I could go to my room, first mistake. Secondly the whole weekend I was there I interacted with 3 different front desk staff members, and all 3 were extremely rude and had very nasty attitudes. Again, NOT something you normally get at a Hilton branded hotel. And lastly during my stay there was some kind of children’s party in one of the rooms on my floor. These kids were allowed by their parents to be extremely loud, and unruly for hours. Running up and down the halls, yelling, hitting the doors of other guest (I can’t blame their behavior on the hotel), but when I have to call the front desk 3 times before someone is sent up stairs to say something, just isn’t right. So with all this said I will NOT be staying here again. There is a Doubletree right next door, another Hilton owner brand, I will for sure be staying there next time and honesty I think you should too.

I recently stayed at Home2Suites for a planned visit to the Cleveland Clinic. The outside of the facility was no frills, but my initial impression changed when when pulled up to the front doors. The service attendants were very helpful with the luggage and my medical equipment, helping me to my room. They took care of the check in procedure for us. We stayed in a suite with a fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities needed for long term stay. The suite was 2 connecting rooms complete with kitchen, dinette and living room on one side and bedroom and bathroom on the other side. The bedroom was spacious, no problem navigating my power chair. The be was a very comfortable king with a soft mattress and comfy pillows. The bathroom was a dream. Completely barrier free and laid out well. I had no problems navigating in the entire suite. Very clean, fresh linen and excellent service. It's a winner and I will be staying here again when I return in the fall.

Had to spend 30 nights here. All signs say rooms refreshed (fresh towels, etc.) every 2-3 days but only got cleaned when I called and requested it. Couch was very uncomfortable to sit on. Noise level outside was terrible. You had to request a hot plate to cook.

Currently still due to COVID our cleaning schedule is by request only and we request that you notify us 24 hours in advance to schedule your room cleaning accordingly. As you mentioned the hot plates are by request and available to all of our guests. These items are not standard in every guest room as there is a limited quantity available. We are sorry to hear that you had an issue with the couch being uncomfortable and the noise level from outside. Love the suites at this hotel - a lot of thought went into planning the layout for the ease and comfort of a traveler. It's nice to have the in suite kitchen and lots of places to put your stuff. Pretty cool how the tables tucks away so you can either have lots of floor space or keep the tables out. Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful and our stay was a very pleasant experience. I kind of missed having the feather pillows usually found at a Hilton but love the light blocking shades. The reason for 4 stars on location is that Chagrin Blvd is pretty congested.

Stayed here many time prior to COVID and it was always great. One of our favorites. This was our first stay since COVID and it wasn’t the same positive experience. Cleanliness was an issue - dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no tag on the door that the room was cleaned and the staff wasn’t friendly.

Our only regret about this hotel is that our schedule only allowed us to stay for eleven hours. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The kitchenette in the room had real glass tumblers. We ate breakfast off of real ceramic plates with metal tableware in the breakfast area downstairs. The only reasons I cannot give this hotel a perfect rating is that we had to ask for bedding to make up the hide-a-bed for our daughter, and one of the key cards did not work at first. These problems were quickly and cheerfully remedied. We had a good stay.
